Dusk Harmony (You, just to make sure no confusion) was in the middle of her everyday life, minding her own business, but then, all of the sudden she felt a wash of magic & she appeared in a desert shortly after, in this desert there's was a mountain rains to your west & to the east was, oddly enough, a kitchen with a stallion with long messy black mane and tail, & a very distinguishable red coat, he was at the kitchen setting up the table & serving two plates of food.
(Have to have a lunch break, should be back in the next hour) "This does not look like Canterlot at all. Where about's am i?" Harmony thought as her attention came across to a kitchen smack bang in the middle of nowhere. Her curiosity getting the better of her, decided to wonder over there.
"Hello!", the red stallion greeted, "come on over, Harmony, I have a fresh plate of eggs, pancakes & hash browns waiting here for you!", he called out, motioning her over & taking a seat
(Could not return after my break and i had to head out for the night to a party. Just came back and will continuing posting.) The thought that this stranger knew her name was strange, but decided to say nothing about. Instead, she went over to the chair and decided to sit next to the red stallion.
"Now, down to buisness, shall we?", the stallion said, pulling up a metal bracer with a red crystal on it & setting it on the table,"oh, & if you want any other food, just think so...", he told, making a plate & a sandwich appear before him
Harmony was going to question her surroundings, how she arrived in this place and why she was brought here to this place. Just as she was about to say something, her stomach grumbled. She held it and suddenly a bowl of food appeared infront of her. A banana split covered with chocolate topping with a cherry on the top. Harmony looked in shock and surprise as she tried to make words about what had just happened, none of which came out her mouth. "How did th-, Who tha-, That's i-" was all that managed to successfully come out.
"In here anything you can imagine becomes a reality.", the stallion chuckles, then says softly,"the only problem is, you can't leave with it..." (oh, then stallion is a unicorn, but isn't using magic)
Harmony's mind was screaming to ask this strange unicorn where she was, why she was here and what it has to do with her. She did not want to be rude or anything, it's just that she was not used to suddenly being teleported across what appeared to be another dimension. She sighed and looked at the stranger. "You know my name as Harmony Dusk, nice to meet you. You mentioned something about business before?"
"Yes harmony, it's a pleasure, you may call me The Time Broker, & this business is more... Extra-dimensional plane hopping, or going into new world would be the laments term, you will have to help repair problems in the fabrication, because the universes & planes are being torn apart...", the red unicorn explained
'Extra dimensional traveling? I thought the multiverse theory that was developed by our scientists was non existent yet?" Harmony said, as she thought over this question. "I would have developed furhter on the theory until i was transported here. And what sort of problems are you having?"
"Just some small things... Y'know... The fabrics of time being torn apart... Umm, & the whole multiverse may collapse upon itself... You in to help?"
"Oh, so it's quite of a big deal then." Harmony said jokingly. This opportunity might be just what she needed, she was ready for an adventure of a life time. "I will be happy to help, mister broker. I would love to travel with you." She had only known this stranger for a couple of minutes and she was already traveling with him for a mighty adventure. She did not know why, but the stranger had this 'feel' to her that made him seem very nice to know. She smiled at the thought as she watched the brokers face light up with glee
The Time Broker smiled & chuckled softly, & says,"I've got other things to deal with too, I need multiple groups out there...", then picks up the bracer tossing it onto harmony, then it slides down to her left foreleg & melt around part of it,"if you check the back of the bracer it'll have messages that I send you, telling you what to do...", then he pulls out a bag & hoofs it to her,"this is a money transformer, you put money in & it comes out as money from that land..."
"This is very clever." Harmony said, wondering if the stallion invented such a device. "This would help to a large extent if i traveled to those lands. You mentioned something about groups, is the same happening in other universes?"
"As I said, we're fixing the multiverse, not the universe, also DO NOT try to take that thing off, it's incapable of coming off, unless I make it..."
"You are being teleported, & you fight back...", then hit his hooves together & harmony was in a dark cave with light, clashing metal, shrieks of pain, sounds of rats squeaking & a terrible stench, the bracer read,*save the barbarians*
"Ok, understood." Harmony said. She thought about her objective, which did not sound difficult at all. However, this could all come back to bite her horrifically. She made her way out of the cave after some exploring and went out into the world.
