The ponies who managed to escape met up at a small tunnel on the outskirts of ponyville where the Friendship Express used to be. Instead, there was wreckage. Which is why this place was now being used as a form of shelter from the apocalypse of fire and ice raining upon their homes. Among the ponies there was a dragon. Razz. Seemed friendly enough, but none the less there was the fair amount of distrust for the fact Dragons are attacking everywhere. Also among the group, near the train wreckage, was Robin Hoof, sitting idly. Above the train, as though keeping an eye out, was OrangeBolt. A Grey feathered Griffin snapped his talons, as though trying to get Everyone's attention, keeping his glazed eyes at the Dragon. "Ahem. I am sure you all know the prediciment we are under. All you ponies have lost your homes. Some your families. Even some of you have lost more. I am sorry. But now is the time to move on. We must make departures towards the Griffin Kingdom. Unfortunatley, the only route where Dragons are not so commonly found, is through the Everfree forest. We must make our way through there. But first, prepare yourself. Get some rest. Meet and talk to those around you. Chances are, you'll be seeing a lot of them." The Griffin sat down. He looked out. There was only 15 in this group. He was hoping more would have made it. The group consisted of 5 ponies, 1 dragon, and 9 Griffins. He was determined to get them all back to the Griffin Kingdom. He was sure of it. (OOC: Go on. Meet your fellow ponies (or Dragon in the case of Razz) and the Griffins meanwhile I shall work out the statistics.)
Raganesh, (or better known as Razz,) had a seat by the farther end of the group, as if in a bit of isolation. He curled his tail into his lap and played with the tip. He was a dragon of the silvermand clan, dragons which were more interested in working with species, and normally didn't participate in battles involving the ponies. In particular, Razz was a young dragon. Not a baby, but not quite past the reliant stage. Of course, when the other dragons took his mom away, and the only one nearby for him to cling to for help was a unicorn, he ended up far more attached to ponies. The war's conflict was just... confusing to him, mainly. His color was a greyish silver purple, and from his head to his tail were two lines of spines that were webbed like fins. He had wings, but at that moment he was sitting back on them as he stared down at the tip of his tail with somewhat sad-looking orange eyes.
Nostalgiac Winter folded her overlarge feathery gray-blue and glanced around at the wreckage and the ponies, her blue and gray eyes glinting with hatred. She avoided the gaze of Razz and just talked with the ponies, reluctantly, and the other griffons. She was a pale icy blue in color for her lion part, the fluff on the end of her tail the same bluish gray as her wings. Her eagle part, excluding the wings, were silvery, the feathers fading down the tips on the top of her head into a deep foreboding stormy gray, the feathers specked in silver and the same stormy gray as the tips of her head-feathers. Her eyes were mismatched blue on the left, a soot gray on the right. Her sharpened beak and glinting talons were also a deep gray. Once meeting as many as she wanted, she finally sat in the dirt, wrapping her abnormally long lion tail around to rest on her soot-colored talons. The lion part of Nostalgia was more like a longhaired cat's, her wings were more feathered than the average griffon, and she had more plumage on her eagle part than anything. Her wings were extended with an inch of them folded in, her feathery head held high to the wind. Being a winter-oriented griffon, the result of her thicker plumage and fur, she was no stranger to the chill winds drifting in; she was from the tundra near the Crystal Kingdom where all the shadows and dark creatures lived... And where King Sombera was hiding.

IvyRose (Ivy for short) would be sitting near a small flowerpot she had found with some soil and a Daisy in it. Her love of gardening wouldn't die down even in an apocalypse like this. As the griffon would finish speaking, she would look up at the others. She would now place the pot on the ground, then stand up and approach the dragon, Razz. "Hi, Im Ivy." She would sit down beside the Dragon now. "So, what's your name? I'd love to get to know everyone!" Even in a disaster, her cheery spirit would still hang around like a few balloons left over from a birthday party.
Jaden sat quietly, murmuring when anyone tried to talk to her, otherwise keeping quiet. Her large eyes glanced around the train and she thought about the war.
Robin hoof got up and approached a griffon who was standing by a mini portable armoury. "Hey, I'm just wandering if I could help with guarding. I'm pretty skilled with a bow in fact my cutie Mark skill is entirely based around my accurate archery skills". He smiled waiting for the griffins reply.
The grey Griffin looked down at the hooded pony and rolled his eyes. "A pony archer? We have 3 bows and only so many arrows, pony. Tell you what though! I'll be nice and let you borrow a bow. You can go with my two best archers. Prove to them you are a good archer and you can keep the bow as well as some arrows." He chuckled a bit as his eyes seemed to glare to the side, motioning to a couple of Griffins, who were listening in. "Good luck. You'll need it."
"I think I can handle it. I did win the equestrian archery cup 5 years in a row. I'm also equestria's most wanted outlaw. So I'm pretty sure I don't need luck". Robin grabbed the bow and a hoofful of arrows before smelling the breath of a timberwolf.
Shadow walked at the back of the bunch for 2 reasons, 1 he was gaurding the back against attack, and 2 he was isolating himself. Seeing as he really didn't know anypony in the group, he would rather keep to himself.
Orangebolt was above the train, looking out at what used to be Cloudsdale. Now it was in ruins. He stretched and looked in his bag of supplies he was able to collect before evacuating. A canteen, some apples, some firestarter and basic medical supplies. He looked at the group. 5 ponies, 9 griffins and a dragon, suprisingly. He flew over to the dragon. "This war must be confusing for you. I wouldn't be suprised if you've faced any discrimination once this attack broke out. I'm Orangebolt, you are?" Orangebolt said, before sitting down on a rock next to Razz.
Surprised by the pony, Razz's spine quills went stiff for a moment, but relaxed after a second. "Oh, uhm... yeah." He smiled nervously and chuckled. "Ponies call me Razz." After swallowing, he let go of his tail and extended a claw to shake. "I'm sure of myself with the side I've chosen, at least. Uhm... you pony types have always shown me kindness, after all... so I'm here to help."
Orangebolt took the claw, and shook it. His stomach rumbled. "Hey, are you hungry?" Orangebolt asked. "I have some apples if you want one." He reached in to his bag and took out an apple, before handing it to Razz. "Do dragons eat apples? I wouldn't know, I've never really seen one until this happened."
He chuckled a little as he exchanged the contents of his claw from a hoof to an apple, and held it up, turning it about as he spoke. "Well, it's not the best for us, but we can consume it. What's good depends on the dragon. Most of the scary dragons eat gemstones. I think that's a bit of a waste..." He winked, "but my favorite food is fish!" As he bit into the apple with his sharp teeth, he ended up showing his lack of etiquette by speaking while chewing. "Though, apples are tasty, I'm kinda a water dwelling dragon. You know?" He animatedly tilted his head with the question.
"Fish huh? Y'know, I went fishing sometimes with my family over the summer. I was pretty good at it too! Maybe, once we reach the griffin kingdom, we could find a nice lake, stay for a few hours, then we have our self a meal." Orangebolt said, taking a bite into his apple.
Jaden looked at the dragon curiously. "How old are you exactly? Unless.. that is impolite in dragon culture.." she asked softly.
Razz chuckled lightly at Orange Bolt's humor and swallowed the rest of the apple. He waved his claw at Shadow before looking at Jaden quietly. He looked up and thought about it. "Well, I didn't really have a calendar until I started living with ponies. Our culture doesn't keep track of time the same way, really... so age isn't added by years." He wiggled his claws in the air a bit and and shrugged. "It's been about twelve years since I was taken in. So uh... what about you?"
"You mean... my age? I'm 31. 31, and still living, fortunately." she said, flipping her head, as if to indicate the whole world around them.
Falls back so to be alone. *I guess they didn't hear me, oh well i like being away." Shadow said half-heartedly.
"So, what are all your cutie marks? Ponies, I mean. Except.. Do griffons dragons have a version of cutie marks?" asked a bewildered Jade.
