A long time ago, when Equestia was but a small kingdom among many, there was an era of peace. The land was pleasant and the people happy, but one day, a mysterious island appeared, just off the Northern coast. On this island was a portal, and from the portal spewed all manner of strange creatures. Furthermore, the land around the island was becoming strange too; trees walking around, grass changing colour, clouds raining chocolate milk, and the ponies that lived there acting in the most peculiar way... The people of Equestria were worried, and so they called on a champion to investigate the portal, and hopefully find a way to stop it...
((Good thing I played oblivion. Not that much, (lack of time) but enough xD Oh yeah, I will play an ancestor of Darky. Still, almost all the male members of his family tree look the same x3)) The champion called for this quest was a grey alicorn with a long black mane and tail. His left eye was green and his right one blue. He came from across the easter sea, but equestria needed him when he was visiting what would one day become the mainland, so it was his duty to help. He went to the northen crystal empire, before King Sombra took over the land, to investiagte about the island before taling a boat to it. What was waiting for him? It was a mistery.
The island itself wasn't very large; barely big enough to fit a house, but it seemed to be there purely to sustain the portal. As the boat got closer, it became apparent that the rocks on the island were made of rock candy, and all the trees were upside down. There were also two timberwolves sitting down at a small table, drinking tea, next to the portal itself.
"Alright.... this is weird..." The Alicorn said as the boat arrived. He looked to the island at the center. The one that looked that would allow somepony to have a house in there, a small one, but still. Who would live in this place?! Is a total mess! He kept looking around to the trees that were upside down and the timberwolves drinking tea.... yeah. Tea. He sighed and soon the boat touched land. Well, arrived to the island with the house. He got off the boat and walked towards the center. "Errrr... hello?" He asked as he looked around for somepony... anypony!
"Yes?" Replied one of the timberwolves, looking up from his tea. "Can we help you?" (Just to say, in case I didn't explain it very well, Eris and her land are through the portal, like an Oblivion gate style thing, which is on the island. You're basically standing on Eris' doorstep )
(Oh, alright. Thanks for explaining. ) The Alicorn turned to him. "Uhmm..yes. Ehhh... my name is Thunder Shield." He said. "I'm looking for the one responsable for.... all this..." he said, looking trough the portal. "...mess..." he had no other word to describe it. (Oh, forgot. His cutie mark is a winged shield with a thunder inside. forgot to add that xP)
"Mess? My dear fellow, that's jolly rude; this is our home!" The Timberwolf glared at Thunder for a second before laughing. "My name is Lone. Lone Wolf. And this here is my friend, Courage." He said, motioning to the other timberwolf, who was eating a dog biscuit. "I suppose you could say we are the guard dogs. It sounds like you are looking for Lady Eris, whether you know it or not. But tell me; what do you want with her?" The wolf seemed to grow a little larger and more menacing as he asked this.
"Uhhmmm... sorry..." Thunder said. "Is... good you meet you Lone and Courage." He said with a small smile to them. For timberwolves, they were quite friendly. The ones he knew just growled at you and five seconds later you are being chased by a full pack of them. "Lady Eris? Is that the one that did all this?" He then said after a moment. "If she is the one that did it, then yes, I'm looking for her. Ponies in Equestria send me to investigate this place. They are worried about all this." 'And with good reason', he thought.
"He wants to snoop around," Lone said, looking at Courage. "What do you think; should we let him in?" Courage dropped back to all fours and circled Thunder, sniffing him. "Smells like he's telling the truth. Yeah, let him in; if he causes any mischief, we'll be able to find him." He grinned at Thunder. "I've got your scent now." Lone laughed again. "Oh I'm sure that won't be necessary!" He walked Thunder over to the portal. "In you go, Mr. Sheild Sir, have fun!"
Thunder remained silent as they taled between each other. Yeah... pretty normal... "I won't cause any problems. I want to see what is going one at the other side." And put a stop to it if necessary. He then walked as Lone walked him to the portal. "Thank you." he said smiling, then walked in, not knowing what to expect at the other side.
The land on the other side was upside down, causing Thunder to fall on his head as he stepped through. There were rolling hills and forests, which all seemed to be moving around and fighting over the best spots, the sky was purple, and there were flocks of playing cards flying around. There was a table near the portal. It was like most tables, except that rather than having legs that went to the floor, this table's legs went upwards, disappearing into the sky. On the table was a note.
Thunder almost immediately reacted as he fell, managing to barely stop his fall with his wings before he crashed in the ground. He looked around to the see place. If outside was a mess, this place wins by a lot. He then saw the table... if you can call it one because of the legs... and a note. He decided to walk towards it and read it, out of curiosity.
The note read: 'Please wipe your hooves.' "You'd better do as it says." Said Eris, suddenly appearing behind Thunder and reading the note over his shoulder. "That table holds a grudge."
Thunder looked at the note for a moment, not sure why. He then heard something and almost jumped out of surprise. "Ahhh!" He said as he gave a step forward and looked at... whoever it was. "Uhmmm... who are you?" he asked as he wiped his hooves.... Celestia knows why...
"Who am I? The question is, who are you? It's very rude not to introduce yourself you know." Eris said, crossing her arms and looking Thunder up and down. "You're certainly not from around here. Interesting..."
Thunder looked at her. "Oh, yeah. Sorry..." he said, then took a deep breath and calmed down. He had to admit, to whatever she was, she looked a bit cute... "My name is Thunder Shield. I was sent here in behalf of the ponies at the south to investigate... this place..." he said. "So, what is your name?" he then asked politely.
