Legends have been told about the League of Shadows, a group of unicorns, earth ponies, and pegasus ponies that have been sworn to the dark. Little did the ponies know that these stories were true. On one average day in Ponyville, everything seemed fine until the sky turned black. No clouds. No sun. Just black. Everypony started running crazy, some locking themselves in their homes, and others taking the darkness as a free-for-all and stealing. Rumours of black-hooded ponies appearing over Ponyville were spreading like wildfire. Among all the commotion a loud, booming voice rang out for all of Ponyville to hear. "Ponyville has been shinging brightly for far too long, blinding you from the beauty of the dark. Welcome to the League of Shadows, my friends." Hurry and find a way to release the spell over Ponyville and chase out the League of Shadows before everypony is turned to darkness. Hello everypony! Sorry if the description is bad, I'll get the hang of doing things like this eventually. Did I mention I was new here? :derpe: Anyways, what do you think? Would you roleplay this? It'll be an action/thriller, with some romance mixed in here and there. It will be an OC roleplay, so original characters only. Thanks a bunch for reading this! I'm not really sure how this fits into any of the description... do you plan on shipping NPCs together during the time? I like the thought, but a bit more info on what we'd be doing would be nice.
Basically in the roleplay what will happen is the ponies (us) will stumble upon each other and try and work together to turn the dark ponies in the League of Shadows to good ponies. Each ponies unique ability and special talents will be used as a strength to "heal" the dark ponies and get rid of the evil inside of them. Once the League of Shadows has turned good and only the leader is left, all the ponies will have to combine their abilities to stop the darkness and "purify" him. As soon as the LOS (League of Shadow) ponies have been turned to the light they will lift the spell over Ponyville and leave to settle in another area. I hope that helps a little! As for the romance, sorry for throwing that in randomly at the end. There will be some slight romances building as time goes on in the roleplay between OCs. I'm not quite sure what NPC means. Sorry!
Just so you know, an NPC is an non-playable character - a character that none of the role players are playing, but the creator of the roleplay controls.
WHOA THERE, too much info. Spoilers I was just wondering where the romance would be involved, seeing as none of the description involved a scenario that would allow it and I don't think any players want to ship themselves together. Also, an NPC is basically a character played by the GM. It's not controlled by any players. EDIT: Double ninja'd X3
Gah, sorry Romance will be involved between the OCs, and yes, there will be NPC. The roleplay will have a decent amount of time for romances to occur. For example, if the ponies split up into teams of two of three, if some pony gets hurt, when they first meet, fighting together, etc.
So... I... They... Still not getting it here, but I suppose it doesn't really matter. Consider me interested.
One; We'll all start good, and mainly still be good. If your pony gets turned to the dark side, that's fine as long as they are turned back to good later on in the roleplay. Two; I suppose there will be fighting, yes. It won't be gory though, since the main goal is to turn the ponies to good instead of dark.
