The Lunar Republic RPG

The Lunar Republic was a fanfic i began writing based in a future Equestria 18 years after the defeat of DisQord. The fanfic might not be avaliable for reading yet as it requires mod approval (or something along those lines) and is not yet complete, so alongside the fanfic I decided to create an RPG based in it. For a bit of backstory, heres the first paragraph of the fanfic.

Today marks the twelfth year of the New Lunar Republic and the twelfth year that we must hide from our oppressors. We are in the midst of a secret war, one that threatens to tear all of equestria in two. The guards constantly patrol the streets, apprehending those suspected of taking action against Queen Celestia, who with the denunciation of Luna as her sister, took the throne solely for herself a year before the formation of the New Lunar Republic. There was something that changed about her that year. She had always had her problems, but everyone did, and she was a benevolent ruler who helped her subjects. However three years after the defeat of DisQord, something happened. The six responsible for defeating both DisQord and Nightmare Moon have been missing ever since, having disappeared without a trace. Having been disowned only two nights before, Luna set out to find them, but was attacked by a contingent of the queen’s guard inside the everfree forest. She escaped the guards, and fled back to Ponyville, only to find it already having descended into chaos. Ponies that stood against the queen rallied to the tree where the leader of the six had once lived, and even now our meetings are held in the hidden crevices underneath the library.

All ponies begin in the caverns underneath the library, home of the Lunar Republic. Just fill out this character sheet to begin.

Indeed, sorry about the wait, been having some internet problems and all, but they've stopped so we can get this started.

Location:The Lunar Republic

The sounds of the meeting bell faded into nothing as the last ponies entered the hall. Luna stepped forward to address the attendants. "My fellow ponies, our fight against Celestia has been a long and hard one, and it will only get more difficult as we approach the end of it. These are uncertain times we face, and it is as difficult to know what started this war as it is to know the end of it. But amongst this there is one thing that is certain, that we will fight for our freedom, and the freedom of all Equestrians. However, for now we must fight for our own survival, we are running dangerously low on our food rations, and we have had odd reports of guard's searching for something near the everfree forest. Those who wish to aid with the food situation stay behind and report to me, those who wish to investigate what the guards are searching for, report to Moondancer." on those last words Luna motioned to a middle aged female unicorn who had stepped out of the shadows.
The crowded ponies begin to either leave the hall or gather towards Luna, while others wait around deciding for themselves where to go, there is a pegasus reporting to Moondancer but most of the ponies seem more interested in the food situation or their own devices.

What do you do? (It's rather open as to what you can do, you can go off and do your own thing, or try to help out with problems in the Lunar Republic, helping with problems in the Lunar Republic will often get you into groups with NPC ponies, who cannot be directly controlled, but can be told to take actions and thier response will be dependent on their character and relationship with you)

You set down your tools and hurry off to the meeting, hoping that your work hasn't made you late for another meeting. Unfortunately as you see ponies filing out of the halls you realise you were too late. You pull over a pegasus and ask them what the meeting was about, and are informed that two teams are currently being put together, one to help retrieve some food, the other to investigate something (they are rather unsepecific as to what it was) happening at the everfree forest. In the meeting hall you notice a large group of ponies clustered around Luna, assumedly helping with the food retrieval, and a lone pegasus reporting to Moondancer, most likely investigating the problem at everfree forest.

What do you do?

The guards continue onwards into the everfree forest, however, unlike you were told, they did not appear to be searching for anything. In fact, you could swear that they were just going around in circles, after what seems like the third time you've passed an odd patch of blue flowers you can feel yourself beginning to get rather angry at the guards and wish they would just find whatever it is they're looking for. You begin to wonder if it's really worth the trouble of finding what they're looking for or if you should just kill them outright to ease out some of your anger, but your thoughts are broken up by a piercing scream coming from further within the forest, the scream both full of pain and rage.

What do you do?

(Other ponies, I'm getting to you, Thanapony is getting their's continued as they have undertaken their mission alone, currently back at the Lunar Republic you will have to wait until the teams are formed (sorry), don't worry though, after a certain amount of time passes (a day or less) regardless of if everypony has responded the team will go underway. Those that are left behind can catch up or decide to undertake another action.)

As you rush through the forest, you hear the scream getting closer and louder as you approach the owner of it. Before long it has risen to an ear-splitting sound, causing you to focus on shutting out the sound. As the screaming begins to become unbearable a horrible creature bursts out of the bushes, hunting for something. It's body is lined with scales positioned like feathers, in some places the scales are bent outwards and a sickly green-red blood oozes out of these. It stands on two stubby legs but the size of its body easily makes it three times your height. It's arms are covered in thorn-like needles that look sharp enough to cut you with ease, each of the arms ending in a wickedly hooked claw. You honestly feel rather lucky that your so hard to see, as this beast could pose quite a threat to you. However, you immediately regret that as you notice its head, looking somewhere between an eagle's and a dragons, but it's not that which draws your attention but the eyes, Or rather, the lack of them. The creatures eye sockets were hollowed, a deep darkness where their eyes should be. This creature couldn't see anything, let alone you, yet somehow, as if you had spoken the words aloud, it turns to you and makes a lunge after you with its claws.
