Beginning in 2013, the Federal Bureau of Investigation received reports of unexplained phenomena and occurences in the city of Canterlot, California. Officially, the Bureau denies that the incidents ever occurred, but unofficially, it's a different story. The Bureau has relegated these reports to the "X-Files," a set of cold cases considered unsolvable due to their taboo or gruesome nature. Most of these cases were eventually solved through the efforts of two members of the Bureau: Fox Mulder, an agent obsessed with paranormal phenomena since his sister disappeared when he was a child; and Dana Scully, a physician who initially had been skeptical of such occurences. However, the two of them had been decommissioned in 2003, ten years before the Canterlot incidents had occurred. And even as they resumed work in 2016, even they remained unaware of the phenomena in Canterlot, as the FBI had restricted access these particular cases to high-ranking officials. Little did they know that someone else would eventually find out...
