Many years have passed since the last of the old elements died off, and Equestria is once more peaceful and at rest. But one thing remains uncertain, Who will be the next Champions of the Ancient Elements? Who will be the next Bringers of Harmony? Little did they know that these questions will be answered sooner, rather than later....
Dark Note looked at his the temple where his 'father' was laid to sleep. "I hear it. Calling to me! I must retrieve the Dual Pegasi Amulet." He nodded to himself before walking in. As soon as he entered he noticed it, suspending in the air. He looked to the walls noticing small holes. He put one hoof in front of the holes and almost immediatly swiped it back to his side. Nothing happened. He sighed before leaping for the amulet, only to feel a rock on his wing as soon as he touched it. He swiped it from the air and immediatly noticed the roof was collapsing. "Oh hay bales." He said before making for the door. He dived out as the entrance collapsed. He sighed, looked back and sighed again.
Sargent sat in the Ponyville town square, tired from a hard day's work. It felt like the extreme weather in the Everfree was only getting worse, and he loved it. He always loved a good challenge.
Midnight Sun stared at the red pony in across the table from him, "So, are you really...?" he started. The red pony nodded, "That I am. I am Red Glory, nice to meet you." Red Glory said, face entirely blank. Should have figured that the son of Dark would be so....emotionless he thought, "So, now that I have finally met my virtual brother, and find out he's..." "Protector of the Guard in the Manehatten region." "Yea, and I'm a stallion who just lost his job because of the Mark Co liquidation and has no pony else to turn to." "What are you suggesting?" "That you let me join the Elite Guard." Red Glory laughed at that, "Just because I'm the Commander of them doesn't mean you get any favors to get in. Good day to you brother!" Red Glory got up, infuriated at what Midnight had just suggested and trotted away into the crowd of Manehatten.
On his way home, Sarge stopped by the plaza and went to the Rough Riders monument to see his father, well, a statue of his father. He looked up at the statue with a slight frown, "I miss ya, dad."
Saiym was standing before a stone statue, embedded in iron armor, before him. He held his glass mace in his right hoof. Narrowing his eyes, he spinned the mace around 2 circles before swinging it at the statues head,destroying the rock and deforming the iron helmet completely. As the rocks fell down on the ground, Saiym holstered the mace and sat down, closing his eyes and tilting his head downwards. He mumbled a prayer towards The 44th Clockmaker and turned around, trotting over to the stone staircase. When he reached the bottom of it, he headed for Ponyville.
"Well it looks like we are out of time for today. Ecliptic, until our next session, I want you to take some time to look through your past and write down any distinctive memories, anything that stands out to you as something important." "Thank you Doctor Song. I will see you in a week." Ecliptic responded as he got up to leave. Making his way home, it occurred to him that this was the first therapy session that left him feeling better. For once it felt like everything was working out. Job interviews were promising and despite Ecliptic's early annoyance at his linguist's advice, (Listen to and talk like other ponies) he was making progress and didn't feel quite so out-of-place.
