    Correction, it's mentioned in a stickied post. Therefore, unless an actual mod says otherwise, I see no problem with this thread. This one also has no set genre, unlike yours which has one in the title. (If Awesome is used to describe GIFs anyway.)

    We even said it ourselves as mods; if people want to make a new thread for an old topic, we let them, as long as it doesn't become spammy.

    Yami once said his Gif thread isn't pony-specific. He also edited the OP of that thread quite some time ago in order to make it no longer qualify as a pony-specific gif thread.

    In other words, We already have a staff approved gif thread for any type of (appropriate) gifs.
