Almost 200 years previously, Celestia betrayed everypony close to her when she ruthlessly took complete control of Equestria, forcing her sister to abdicate from the throne, imprisoning her son and transforming Equestria from a quiet and peaceful kingdom into an enormous totalitarian empire with intentions to either absorb or destroy any nation that stands in its way. Celestia herself, driven mad by her lust for power, declared herself with the infamous title, ‘The Phoenix Queen’ and has spent her time invading or destroying other empires, no matter their size nor alignment. Even causing purges on races that cause the most threat to her, including the insect like Changelings and the ultra religious and most influential race the planet had ever seen, the Ryborians. Until the previous year, nothing could stand up and stop the Equestrian Empire. Until... Born out of adventure, misery, vengeance and holding onto the ideals of liberty and freedom, Princess Luna, now taking her Nightmare Moon form and the remaining nations not under Celestia’s control united to become the New Lunar Republic, united under for a single cause. Ending Celestia’s tyranny. This unification would have not been possible if it were not for the greatest heroes the world had ever seen, mostly made up from various races from across the globe. After a year of war, the Republic has broken the back of the Equestrian Empire and is ready to finish off Celestia on her own turf. The Night Princess had made many powerful allies, such as her own nephew, various leaders in power and those loyal to her. At long last, the Republic was ready. Given support, this could possibly be up tonight.
I'm definitely interested (obviously) and I just came up for a way Jack was dealt with, which I know is irrelevant in this rp, but whatever. Just thought I'd tell you.
I'm curious anyway. I've imagined dozens of ways that Jack would have been dealt with, but i'll like to hear what you thought.
The short version is, do you know the mushroom species that the clickers in that one game (can't remember the name) are based on? It takes over the host body, killing it from the inside out. Obsidian used his nature powers to do that. Infecting Demitry when he bit Obsidian, Then, before his brain completely went away, he got it onto Jack. Jack can't fight a mushroom that is literally eating him from the inside out, but good news! In his last moments, the mushroom freed him from the whispers of the dark god that was corrupting him, so he died realizing the terrors he wrought upon the world he had sought to protect. It's a sad tale, and will only be mentioned in this sequel in the form of Obsidian having sacrificed himself to kill the minions of dark gods, making him a true hero.
