I couldn't find any threads of this sort in the visual arts forum, so hopefully, as we all share resources and stuff, this place'll be helpful to everypony. You can do all sorts of creative things without having to download a big program.) Adobe Flash- Costs money, but animation is smoother and you can do a lot with this if you know how to use it. I haven't figured out how to make .gifs on this without losing picture quality. Brushes: Deviantart is a good source for these, but be sure to credit the brush's creator Art and Editing programs: MS Paint- The new MS paint comes with a new array of brushes (including brushes that look like paint brush and crayon strokes) and more coloring and zooming freedom.
