Garon frowned, slipping into an alley. he loved manehattan, it was a great place to find business, but right now he was rather annoyed. his last transaction had been interrupted by the city guards, and he had to lay low.
Zecrath frowned as a griffon entered the ally Zecrath was hanging out in He decided to see what information he could hear from him before he would approtch the mysterious figure
Garon examined the area and grunted. "seems safe enough. damn guards might not think to look, if they're the usual idiots" he said, slinking farther into the alley
Zecrath smiled before speeking up "That's normaly why I'm in this ally my fine feathered friend" he said in his think zebra accent
Garon recoiled from the voice, but quickly relaxed somewhat when he realized that the stranger was a fellow criminal. somewhat. "well, hello. I do not believe we have met, friend. nice to see a colleague of sorts here" he said grinning, but with wary eyes
"No I don't believe we have..." Zecrath then steped out from his hiding spot and pulled back his cloaks hood Revealing the scars all across his face and his yellow percing eyes staring at the griffon "I'm Zecrath"
Garon examined Zecrath, slightly impressed. he himself had a scar under his sky blue left eye, ending at his bone-white beak. he bowed slightly. "I am Garon."
"I was conducting business when they stumbled upon me. I'm going to have to find the stallion I set to watch for them, and have a little talk with him, but for now, I have to wait until they stop looking for me. my merchandise was...... well, it's purchase and sale carry the death penalty. not pleasant. any interesting escapades you care to divulge?"
"Assassination here, smuggling there...and of course the dealing in zebra fire arms for the non magical" Zecrath said with a smile
Garon nodded, grinning. "I can respect that. I'm a merchant myself, although the guards would have a little to add to that. I'm not an assassin, but I've seen my fair share." he said, leaning against the wall. "and killed a few" he admitted after a moment, shrugging
"ya but you can only get so far around here......you know, cause we're not ponies" zecrath said as he watched the road behind garon
"it is indeed. but manehattan's just about the best place for clandestine sales in the world, if you can get past that barrier. I'm carvin' out my own little empire. how about you?" he said, peekin out to see if there were guards nearby
"That seams vary interesting.....what profit would I expect?" He said back as he leaned agenst the trash bin he was hiding behind earlier
"well..... one of my more lucrative items can go for as much 10,000 bits apiece. my less lucrative sales usually add up to a profit of about 5,000. how does half of that sound?"
"the usual. we're criminals, so the guards are a problem, and of course there will probably be trust issues at one point or another. but I really wouldn't want to get on my partner's bad side, so a catch, besides those of course, would be a rather bad idea."
