(Location: C.A.S Headquarters) Twilight stood in the front of a small enclosed room. Her fedora laid on the table next to her, and her long brown overcoat sat loosely on her body as she addressed the newest recruit to the C.A.S. "Lance Vergil." Twilight stared at him for a moment before frowning. "Manehattan is in chaos. We have two Mafia's vying for control of the city. The Apple Family..." A look of bitterness and sadness flashed across her face as she seemed to spit out the name. "They are more entrenched the city. The population like them and do their best to hide them in every way. We can never get good evidence due to the population covering everything up. They are relentless in their drive to get the Cider out. We have no idea where their refineries are and they are getting bigger and bigger. However, our main concern are the Flim Flam Brother Mafia. They have only recently arrived in Manehattan, maybe a few months ago, but with guns and fear they have created a large presence here. Dozens of murders, kidnappings, and shoot-outs have been attributed to them. We can't let them establish a hold on Manehattan. They will kill and terrorize the population...At least The Apple Family avoids bloodshed." Twilight was already pacing the room, and stopped once she reliazed what she was doing. "A recent shootout has taken place in a bar. We have it confirmed that it was selling Apple Family Cider, but the Bar Owner was shot to death. We need to head over and make sure the Guards haven't missed anything." A purple aura surronded the fedora and lightly placed it on top of her head, covering her horn and making her look like a Detective from the movies. But she was nothing like them. She was better then they could ever hope to be. "We don't have much time. Come on." ------------------------------------------------------ (Location: The Apple Family Headquarters.) Applejack looked down at her new recruits with her usual scowl. Rarely did she ever smile anymore, and her face showed age and numbness towards the world. She sat behind a large desk, with papers sprawled over it depicting numbers and figures. Some Cider related, others were a body count. Nothing else decorated her sleek wooden desk. "The Hood, I've seen you around. You'll make an excellent addition to the guard unit." She said acknowledging the excellent gunner. In her books, anyone able to shoot the person you were aiming at with a Tommy was good enough for her. Her eyes had to shift down to look eye to eye to her next recruit. Clearly the Spy, for she was a runt and looked extremely quiet, her face showing how taxing it was to even keep eye contact. Applejack had her doubts on what would happen if she were captured, but hopefully AppleBloom would be able to sort it out. "Mutsu? I'm sure you'll do the Apple Family proud. AppleBloom will have a field day with a new spy in our control." And finally her eyes shifted over to a more familiar face. A cousin who had shown up in Manehattan claiming her wanted to help the Apple Family out. She tried to convince him not to take this life, for it was hard and unforgiving, but he forged on until she allowed him into the ceremony. A flash of sympathy in her eyes before it was swept away by the numbness that was consuming everything she once was. "Cousin Ash. Happy to have you aboard." Now that she had addressed all three she made sure to make eye contact with all three again before she started. "You know our headquarters. You know some of our secrets. These are some of the greatest secrets I can place upon a ponies shoulder and now I do so unto you. You are now apart of this family. The Apple Family. As such we replace anyone who you held dear to your heart. We are your highest priority. I understand it will hurt. But we do not tolerate snitches. We don't stitch, but you will no longer have protection against anyone." Applejack eyed them all. "While what we may do is illegal, we will do it with the right morals. I don't want any unnecessary killing, I don't want any extortion. The community is under our protection. Respect them and respect your family and you should be fine." She breathed in tiredly and pointed at Mutsu. "Go to AppleBloom. She'll brief you on your first mission. The rest of you. I want you to be introduced to the community. I want you to get a feel of what we're doing here. Go to the pub on 5th avenue and have a drink or two. Talk to the Bare Mare. Socilaze. We depend on the goodwill of the ponies of Manehattan. Know that, and you'll keep your skin." And with that Applejack waved all of them away and returned to work. --------------------------------------------------- (Flim Flam Sector Offices.) The Operator stayed in the shadows of his office as he stared at the new recruits. His desk was lathered with useless items and his office was full with shelves holding pictures and books that looked like they had never been touched. His scratchy voice was finally heard. "Icy Hot...Sunny. Our new two spies. Fantastic. You will do well in this organization." That was all he said as he turned to the new muscle. "Iron. Obey and you will go far as well." He leaned back into his chair which squeaked lightly from his weight. "I need all three of you to understand how we run things here. We kill whoever gets in the way of our money. We kill snitches. We kill traitors. Might is right. Obey and you will go far." His voice was monotone, yet the words rang true. He clearly had many ponies at his disposal and didn't need rebels in the group. "To prove this, one of our spies has discovered a pub that has been a loyal customer to the Apple Family. There is a car outside and Tommy's inside. Kill everyone inside and don't get caught. Do so, and you will get much more difficult assignments. Get going." He reached for a cigar from his desk and lit it with his horn displaying for a short moment his ugly and scarred face.
Winter nodded solemnly, already reminded of the random searches he had to do while in the Agency. "Alright listen you two, when we get there, do as I say, I probably know a lot more about these kind of things then you. We head in, hiding our faces, you two use the tommy guns while I freeze the place, got it? Do that and we will all be peachy." he said in a serious tone, one he gained through many years at the Agency.
Sunny's eyebrow arched. "Why don't we have you freeze the place, so it get's gradually cooler, and then we just slaughter them?"
"Because, one pony trying to freeze the place is quite obvious, and it's hard for me to do remote freezings." Winter replied, "So we hit them with the one-two punch, then leave without a trace."
Iron looked at the pony making the orders "Hey! Who made you leader i'm supposed be the big shot around here to get Flim and Flam to notice me so I make the plans!" Iron said pushing Winter away heading towards the car to get his Tommy gun.
Winter gave Iron a death glare, "Trust me kid, don't mess with me. I used to work for the Agency, I could kill you 100 ways from right where you are. I didn't get the nickname 'Icy-Hot' for no reason." Winter then slid into the car, "And don't try to argue with good plans, all that does is get you killed."
The driver looked back at the pony as he got into the back. He put out his cigar and magazine. "Tommy's and Mags are in a compartment under my seat. It'll take us a while to get there because we have some debts to collect. Get your two aides in here and let's go. We got money to make and ponies to kill."
(Winter's a guy) "They aren't my aides." Winter said lowly, then motioned to the others, "come on, hurry it up."
((whoops sorry but when I think of Winter I see a girl)) Iron went into the shotgun of the car he looked at Winter though the mirror and glared at him he mumbled something that he couldn't hear Iron grabbed the Tommy placed at the floor of the car and cheeked to see if it was loaded "This plan better be good!" Iron said slouching on the seat waiting for them to stop at the pub.
Sun got into the car without a word. "DO you mind if I recharge for a moment?" she asked, "I want to be full power."
(Winter is a GUY, a STALLION, not a girl/mare!) "I've done this before, trust me, if it worked on the first organized gang in Equestria, it will work on a bunch of unsuspecting civi's in a speakeasy." Winter replied, a small bit of frost falling rom his horn as he prepared himself. He looked at Sun, "Whatever makes you the most ready for this."
Robin arrived at the pub tommy gun hidden in a violin case. "he went up to the landlord and whispered to him we're looking for the bare mare. Apple family business while you're at it hoof me a drink will ya". He then sat down drinking and silently talking with the other stallions at the front of the bar who were clearly cider deprived. "I see you have a thirst for cider. Stick with the apple family and you'll be given safe and honest protection alongside pure quality cider. Nothing like the mass produced terror run by the film flam mafia". He then was signalled by the landlord who had clearly something to stay he got up and walked. "okay, but wait for the rest to come". He then turned towards the bar crowd. "who wants some fresh pure apple family cider the first round is on me". He then helped the landlord and his wife hand out tankards of cider to the horde of swarming ponies.
The Driver slammed his hoof on the horn startling all three. "Hey! Hurry the buck up! We don't have a lot of time here!" He yelled at the three ponies, his impatience flaring. "Now get inside and let's go!"
Winter cleared his throat, "Hello everypony, I will kindly ask for you to remain calm, and we shall be done quickly." he said to the pub, then his horn suddenly was wrapped a swirl of snow and frost and that was blasted out in a blisteringly freezing wave, making it much easier on the others to kill those inside.
-before winter entered- "wait did you here that. Okay everyone act casual and hide the cider". He then notioned to the landlord to get backup. He then slid back on his seat hood covering his face and violin case tommy gun disguise in hand. Ready to quickly unlock and fire. -after winter entered- Then winter warmth came in Robin hoof slid behind the counter before the blizzard started, unlocked the case, appeared from the cover and shot. "this is apple family turf so leave now or I'll show my true skill with guns".
