The sky is gray and the air is cool in the wastelands. The powerful are leisurely discussing current events, such as the battles within the Red Ring, in the streets, wearing their fancy clothing and casually sipping at their beverages. Meanwhile, in nearby villages, ponies are at work in fields and factories. And not too far away from the village, the gladiators were being held in cages like animals, waiting for their next battle.
A small white cat ran through the village, jumped up and grabbed an apple off of a vendor's cart. It rushed off quickly before the vendor noticed and ran to the gladiator's cages. It squeezed through an opening just big enough for it to fit through, and arrived inside one of the areas the gladiators stay in. It flashed solid white and transformed into a unicorn, which started eating the apple. "Yummy!" Ninjacat sat down and munched on the apple a bit, before quickly finishing it off and using magic to toss it out the hole s/he'd entered from.
"So, the hatred of our predecessors and the continued mindsets till our parents and rulers are what caused this monstrosity of a caste system". Ordains was in a bar in the middle of a group of crowded university students, army privates and navy cadet. As they discussed the apartheid and mistreatment of those who were less fortunate than them. "what if basically saying is that this needs to end, we need to stand up for our beliefs. Even if it goes against the government." the group raise their ciders "I propose a toast. To the days of harmony and balance. To Shining Armour and Luna". They all cheered with a few angry stares coming from the older patrons.
Narrowleaf sat, leaning on one of the cages. He was told earlier to guard them, but ignored this and dozed off.
Breeze sat in his cage, tapping the bars, bored. He was waiting for somepony, somepony who was about to bring the lower class a little hope. That pony was Ember, Breeze's twin sister. She silently snuck her way to the gladiator holding grounds, a special item hidden in her jacket.
"Hey! Guys? Why are you hitting your heads and junk?" Ninjacat walked to the wall and looked to Blitz's cage. "We should be relaxin, maybe havin a little party! Y'know how it i-" Ninjacat suddenly turns to where Narrowleaf sat. "SHINY!" Ninjacat jumped towards Narrowleaf's location and changed into cat form, and started swatting at his keys. "Shiiiiiiny...."
Ember snuck over to the nearest window to Firebreeze and examined the situation before wrapping something up in a thick cloth and dropping it next to Fire's cage. He quickly snatched it up and hid it in his jacket.
"Hmm?!!" Narrowleaf mumbled, awakening. "Bad kitty! Down!" He said, kicking the cat away. He placed his keys in his pocket.
Ninjacat growled at Narrowleaf and turned back into a unicorn. "Meanie. I should fight you in the ring." Ninjacat growled angrily, before sitting down again and sighing.
Ember made her way back into town. She had been supplying Firebreeze for a month now and was very much worried about what he planned to try to do. She eventually made it to her shack and went inside to sit down.
Narrowleaf put his revolver up to Ninjacat's temple. "Back in your cage." He taunted, smiling. "C'mon, in the cage. Now."
Ninjacat hissed, but obeyed orders. "You're lucky there's more guards than you that would hunt me down if I killed you... Don't forget that I'll have a shiny cookie with your name on it should I ever get free." Ninjacat smiled maliciously at Narrowleaf.
Firebreeze was tempted to use his gift from Ember on the guard, but knew it wasn't worth it, no matter how satisfying. He lays down in the cage and tries to relax.
Narrowleaf spun around and faced Blitz. He placed the barrel of the gun in Blitz's right nostril. "Bang, Bang." He whispered. "You think a handsome noble wants to guard a bunch useless slaves?!"
"Ha! More like repugnant, & if you don't want to guard just go, take a break...", blitz said with a chuckled to narrowleaf
Blitz laughed,"you're threatening they the rich guy with a gun... Well... I guess he probably doesn't have the guts to pull the trigger..."
