((Well, if we're gonna start off, we're gonna need a setting. Just a location and what's going on at the time so that I have something to post.))
((Well, I suggested a few. Work, school or a cafe seem the most reasonable, though school depends on what age you want the character to be. Also, sorry for going into so much detail, but I sometimes enjoy setting up an RP just as much as the RP itself. It's a good way to bounce ideas back and forth.))

A bell chimes as the door to the local cafe was pushed open and a few curious heads turn towards the light green colt that steps inside. He smiles pleasantly and walks over to the bored looking teenager at the counter, setting a few bits down in front of him as he orders a coffee. He then trots to the back of the cafe to claim the last table left. He smiled contently and pulled his morning newspaper out of his saddle bag, happy to read as he waited for his coffee. It was a nice day. The sun was out, the week was over and the small town was once again bustling with life. He had no more work left to do, so his plan for the day was simple: Drink his coffee, read the news, go home and relax for the rest of the day.

As the colt sat at his table, calmly drinking his coffee, the bell at the door chimed once again, followed by a amethyst colored mare, with an aquamarine colored mane stepping inside. She glanced over at all of the tables, trying to find one that was free. "Everywhere is just so busy today.." She whispered to herself, and groaned in annoyance. "Maybe there are some free ones in the back," she thought, trotting to the back of the cafe, only to spot that table in the back had a single pony sitting there. She sighed, lowering her head, causing her mane to cover one of her eyes. "Really?" She asked herself, a little too loudly than she meant to. Loud enough for the pony to hear her. ((So sorry if this is bad. I'll try to improve!))
((It's fine, don't worry about it. You're doing good.)) The teenager from earlier trots up and sets the coffee down on the table for him, prompting a smile and a nod of thanks. As he sips his coffee, he notices the chime of the door and spots a mare stepping inside. He blinks as he hears the annoyed tone of the other mare and after a quick glance around the cafe, he realised what the problem was. "Uh... Miss, this table has two seats if you want to share. I shouldn't be here too long anyway." He smiles at her and gestures towards the remaining seat.
