This is a summary I wrote of the article of the most interesting statistics. Feel free to copy and paste it around. It's official guys the show's demographic is just shy of 50% bronies. There are a lot of other interesting statistics in this article and if you havn't taken the survey you should do it and we should be able to officially go over 50% Some cool facts include, above average education, 70% heterosexual, 87% male and Kindness is the favourite moral lesson.
Hehe, the "mostly homosexual" myth is basically the only one I wouldn't mind being true. x3 I mostly skimmed it, but the results were pretty interesting. I'm surprised that there are that many asexual bronies in this community- though, that's probably for the better. Mostly the results seemed like they should be for anything serious and NOT just trying to demean pony...ism~
That's funny, because I'm an active member on a pony website called Ponychan, and it seemed that at least a quarter of them identify as Pansexual. I love being a minority within a minority though.
I don't know of many websites with "chan" at the end that don't end up involving concentrated amounts of sexuality :derpe:
I am married, work full time, graduate from the culinary institute in a few months, I am 22 and male so I fit all of or a majority of the stats in that study. Interesting indeed
Actually Ponychan has no sexuality compared to say 4chan, Rule 34 stuff and gore are strictly forbidden. Just a lot of gay/bi bronies there.
Gr, I hate double posting, but I wanted to add: I find it amusing that I'm a minority within a minority. First, I'm homosexual, so right off the bat I'm part of a small 2% of the brony community. Second, I'm 16 and in High school, so another minority group there. I also wanted to toss this in. I understand a lot of bronies are heterosexual but, can we seriously stop getting so defensive about it? Really? I mean, it got so bad that at one point a group of bronies told me to leave because I'm gay because I make the rest of the bronies look, well, gay and apparently give all of you straight bronies a bad name. I mean... just... what? Really?

Frankly, to further your point; I highly doubt that your sexual orientation I going to have a drastic effect on how you interact With others on this forum. Or in real life for the matter. It doesn't change who your are as a member of our community. Not in my mind at least. I really don't get homophobia; Are people afraid of contracting the gay? Does that also spread via interwebs?
