This is a general thread where history buffs ( like myself and you) can ask as many questions, make jokes, and just speak about the post civil war period up until the start of the First world war or as I call it, the Great war. Just to get a conversation going, who here thinks that imperial Russia could have done MUCH better if it had industrialized more in the 1880's up until 1914? By the way, you can answer a users questions, post your own, say something random-funny about the era or even do all of them at the same time. I don't care, as long as all of you are happy. Also, you may simply speak about the art, industry, great people and fashion from the age too as I also adore those things from the era.
