It was just another day, a boring day, Esy thought to himself lowering his guitar down. His house wasn't much to brag about, you could barely call it a house, as small as it was. It was pretty lonely, being one of the few pegasi ponies living down on solid ground, by the outskirts of Hoofington. He wasn't that sure why he decided to live here at all, he thought as he kicked open the door, leaving his house to step out on the porch. "What to do..." He sighted to himself, gazing out on the fields of corn surrounding Hoofington. "Where to go..." The sun was shining bright, a slight breeze passing by Esy as he decided to go for a little trot around his house.
Silver Leaf had traveled far to make her way to Hoofington. Through the Misty Mountains and skirting around the edges of Tall Tale, she'd made her trip with a little effort on her part. Most of her rations had been finished, and her legs were sore from trotting for so long. Still, if she could ensure her safety, and that of her friends, it was something she needed to do. The sun shone down upon her, making her rather easy to spot as she walked along the side of the fields, with her leather saddlebags gently bouncing at either side of her waist. She made her way towards the home, her head hung a little low as her hooves just about dragged in the dirt.
Elegantly flying across the fields, Esy didn't pay much attention to his surroundings. It took a fair bit of time before he managed to notice a pretty worn out pony trotting along the fields. Esy stopped, asking himself who this was. There wasn't much ponies around these parts of hoofington... He flew closer, his mind bubbling as it thought of who this could be. After heavy considering, this mare looked familar. Slowly approaching her, he considered wheither to confront her or not.
