Yes, I am capable of posting something that isn't a poll.

This list was always meant to be a part of my deviantart gallery (hi everyone! It's me, GokuMartin!), but I decided that it works better in an auditory medium.

Meaning, I'm gonna let my choices speak for themselves.

Now, I know what you are already thinking...didn't Doug do this in the pre-To Boldly Flee era? And yes, he did. But the difference is that his list was about instrumental scores. This list is about actual song composed specifically for a movie.

And when I say "composed specifically for a movie", I mean it. I'm not gonna include songs that predate the movie but were later inserted into the movie, I'm talking songs written specifically for the soundtrack of a movie.

    So, here is my list:

    5-"Spaceballs" by The Spinners (Spaceballs)

4-"Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor (Rocky 3)

3-"Hey Pachuco" by Royal Crown Revue (The Mask)

    2-"Shaft" by Isaac Hayes (Shaft)

1-"Ghostbusters" by Ray Parker Jr. (Ghostbusters)

    What do you think?
