No. This is not a change for the better despite what mass media will lead you to think.

With recent fear mongering about climate change. The main stream media media have been suggesting for western populations to start eating bugs to combat adverse climate change. Some even suggest to eat the bodies of the deceased to aid in this regard. The issue is that humans are evolved to eat the meat of animals, not insects. It's stranger still that this ideal of eating bugs and food waste is now even starting to be pushed on children. With 3D models of what we may be potentially eating in our future.

In international news. Dublin is now facing overpopulation and increased homelessness due to immigration and price hiking on housing. It has turned a once proud community of people into a cold society of desires and wants. Once community based squares, are now turned into places to shop. New price hikes on homes make it so only those who are financially benefited have someplace to live. This turn of events has started making Dublin look like California, in more than one way.

Speaking of California... San Francisco is now building 'Pod Homes' for those who cannot live elsewhere. The average price of such a hovel is around 1,200 dollars a month to live in. You have no privacy. You cannot develop relationships. And you will most likely not enjoy the company of everyone you live with. This kind of housing is currently being marketed as alt-housing. Though people who have seen the interior of this housing, compare it to the shelters used during the Holocaust. Which paints a rather eerie picture of what maybe a darker intention of the future for all lower and middle class US citizens. And it maybe not all that off since employment of 'Servant Jobs', in service to the 1 percent, are drastically on the rise compared to other jobs. And with it being increasingly hard to find a job that isn't with in the service industry. And this reality blends with those in San Francisco who make 3,000 a month and STILL cannot afford the housing there, outside the recently established pods.
