Mat was sleeping on a bench in Ponyville, laying there, he really didn't have anything to worry about. It was a quiet day, so the red stallion could sleep around and not really have anything crazy to do. It's not like a monster was going to attack Ponyville or anything, but one thing was still on his mind. It affected his sleep a bit, his hooves twitched a bit. Suddenly, the red stallion jerked awake, in a sweat. He took a look around, "... Ugh... Sleeping is hard."
"Mat?!" Raven trotted over, surprised, her axe guitar strapped to her grey body. "The one Dustbutt drank under the table?" She was bored, and had been wandering Ponyville, considering jumping off of something high until she spotted the red stallion.
Mat rubbed his face a bit, until hearing her Raven say his name. He gave a bit of a light chuckle at her comment, "Right.... he keeps telling it that way, when the opposite happened.... Nice job Dusty.... I can't believe he's even telling that story."
Mat shakes his head, "Nah... my house is on the edge of Ponyville, near the Everfree Forest. I'm just snoozing out here." He runs a hoof through his mane, "More or less."
Mat blinks at the poke, "Well, I don't know, just been hard getting a sleep recently. Everything dream-wise kind of ends up the same."
"Yeah?" She sat down next to him. "I've got a sec. Wanna talk about it? Maybe I can make you a song outta this."
Mat shrugs, "It's actually pretty complicated... Truthfully, I might have seen one of those 'psychic' ponies, you know... and they kind of said something."
Mat chuckled, "Oh... no, I mean, I pretty much know my destiny sort of. At least, what my goal is, you know. But something she said. It was weird."
