I want to know what you guys think about this. The recent "how old are we all" thread seems to be quite popular (probably because it's easy to reply to) and it's very interesting to have your images of people (their age, personality) be shattered in threads like that one. I'm wondering if this is too far, but would anyone on here want to post a profile picture of themselves? I will be the first to do it, but I want to know if people want to do this! Once you see how someone looks in real life, there's no going back. The anonymous side of the forums would be split into pieces. So, should we merge the everypony world with the real one? The poll is anonymous.
No way. Can't risk any of my customers finding out that I'm a brony. I find it extremely unlikely that any of them are bronies, but you never know.
I suppose . . I've got a couple of pictures where I look better than I do in real life Seriously, sure, why not? I probably look nothing like people here picture me. (Briefly tempted to post a picture of a horse, just to see what the reaction is - but it'd probably be something along the lines of "Ha, ha - very funny.")
I'd throw in one of my graduation pictures. (One of the only pictures of myself, since I'm not a picture type, unless it's brony related.)
I've got a picture of myself as my profile picture here on Everypony; you can see it by viewing my profile. I'm very picky about what pictures I show of myself, but I think that members sharing pictures of themselves is a fine idea. :3 If a thread were to be created for such a purpose, I'd post a non-cropped version of the one I have in my profile. EDIT: After looking a little closer at this, I see now that this is specifically about profile pictures. Well, I already have mine there. ^^;
I've got like 3 pictures of myself online and two of those were at a Warhammer function taken by Gamesworkshop. Those are probably long gone and the only one I have has terrible lighting. I'm not opposed to taking one if I can actually get a good one.
Yeah why not. It's not going to hurt me any. I don't care really what the picture looks like, but i'd have to take one with my zebra glasses. There're so cool.
I'd do it, all though I can't be held responsible for anyone falling in love with my stunningly beautiful features. Joking, I have a constant tired and miserable expression. But still, it would be interesting to break the anonymous barriers that the internet has. It makes you realise that the users here aren't just usernames and avatars, they're real people, just like you. It's similar to hearing the DJs for the first time, that was interesting. Of course, not everyone might be comfortable with showing their face, which is more than understandable.
