Okay. That ending. I was in 3 different chats when I watched it, and I want to know something from everyone here please: Was I the only one who didn't enjoy the finale?
The worst bit was how it was rushed, then they didnt even explain HOW she turned into alicorn, felt like a slap in the face. Until I see how this turns out NEXT SEASON, Im done with the show i think.
I didn't either, really. The plot was far-fetched and rushed, the singing was everywhere and felt too out of place much of the time, and I'm not sure how I feel about having alicorn Twilight from here on out. They get points for using the term "alicorn," though.
Is it possible we just deluded ourselves inot thinking hasbro cared? Is this the bubble bursting on our time? I just... dont know.
Could've been better. It honestly did feel rushed and like they were just trying to throw Alicorn Twilight out there. Also, I'm still wanting for the Rarity and Octavia duet..
I find it funny how one of the lyrics near the end was something like, "everything is going to be fine." Hopefully that's a discreet message from the people running the show. xD
For all the controversy that was built up around Alicorn Twilight, this episode turned out rather well. There were definitely some problems. Aside from too many songs, there was also too much Twilight, not enough everyone else. I really would have loved to see just how Twilight's botch effected the Mane 6, not just from their destinies, but their personalities as well. Instead we only get bits and pieces of how the spell was literally destroying Ponyville. The ending was well, as everyone here said...a bit rushed. Twilight becoming an Alicorn really isn't explained and pretty much makes us come to the conclusion it happened because "LAWL FRIENDSHIP, GG BRONIES SINCERELY HASBRO". And the episode just kinda...ends with Twilight becoming Celestia's successor. Still, if I had to rate this episode I'd rate it a 6/10. Is it a bad episode? No. Is it a perfect episode? Not even close. It was decent, and lets face it...it could have been A LOT worse.
