Lake had to find a way of control. it want the fact she cant control her strange magic,it was because it goes wild when negative emotions appear. so when she saw a millitary like kingdom infront of her she thought she can study them. the city was a bit darkand she sensed so many spirits. All strong and powerful. then she looked at the castle. it was huge! "Whoever lives there must be scary.." she thought as she kept exploring. Her presence has not gone unnoticed for the guards reported to their king of a mare with glowing eyes in the city.
As the guards came in, they stumbled into an argument, "No! It has to be symmetrical!" The Steward of a passenger ship said, "If not then the passengers will sink!" "Why not support both sides with air tanks? One side is heavier then the other, can't it be just odd numbers?!" The King argued back, as if they were brothers. This was BladeRunner, the Frozen King of the Abyss. Normally he stuck around this kingdom, Zetoria, the Kingdom of Wandering Spirits. "Sir! There is a mare at the gates!" One of the guards report, both bowing to the king. Blade sighed, "Can't you see- wait, a mare?" He asked as if something had hit him with a confused look, "Alright fine, I'll be out in a sec." Moments later, the wind began to pick up, a beam of darkness shooting out from the skies and hitting in front of the mare. A large ball of whiteness slowly landed, and both the beam and ball dissipated into nothingness, revealing an armored figure. It had a huge sword, at least seven feet worths. The armor was a deep blue, and the mask of a saddened face was shown. "You are trespassing upon Zetrorian, state your business." It would say in a very deep, demonic tone.
she shook she tried to remember she shamans orders and try to hide the power but the way he appeared freaked her out. flight won over explaining and her eyes glowed causeing spirits hear her to slightly attack as she ran out of defense looking for a hiding spot if not to escape the town. All she wanted was food and maybe to learn a way to control this curse and now shes in trouble."Oh nonono if he catches me ill be in prison and then i wont be able to control it.."She said trying to get as calm as possible. "That guy needs to learn polite entrances though! He can scare somepony to death!Oh well when the coast is clear i can try to find the library."
"Can you not scare ponies away?!" You could hear from the distance, the same demonic voice answering back. "But my lord, she has breached our kingdom-" "Its one mare! How hard is it to NOT look threatening?!"
she she saw them distracted per say she tried to act normal as she can and walked to the library. inside she saw many books. she pulled out one with native writing she knows and was saddened that it was more dusty then the others. she began reading it. her eyes slowly going back to normal as she talked about spirit animals.
"Look, just get the others and find her, and bring her back to me, please?" The voice would say, hoof steps disappearing into the castle. More of the large ponies with masks appeared, three of them being of different sizes. The smallest was one with a wickedly happy mask and orange armor, the one taller then that had a mask of anger and red armor, while another had a scared mask of yellow, having on the same colored armor. The largest one however, was the size of buildings, having an excited mask, its colored armor were green. They all departed in search for the mare that had intruded on these grounds. BladeRunner was back up on his throne, singing and taking a drink of water. He didn't like this one bit, but he did want to know what he mare was there.
she was cptured and her book taken as evidence. she was scared. her inner spirits gon crazy. "We-ow-found her in the library reading that strange book with pictures-OW WILL YOU STOP IT!" "i-cant..their reacting to my defense magic and trying to protect me..they know im scared.."It was true lake was terrified. "And that is no normal book..that book is dangerous and i do not know how the hay you got it!It the right hands it can summon the spirit guides..the wrong hands can summon demonic ones..im amazed you couldnt read it."
The Door to the Library opened, one of the beings entering knowing that the mare was here, "Surrender yourself at once."
she eventually surrendered and they shackled her thinking she was harming the town. She was dragged a bit over to the king blade runner and she was to sad to look at him.."State your plea mare! How can you control the spirits?" lake shook "I-i can explain..they react to me in two ways. what your seeing is when im scared they try to defend me so run or think of a plan..the other involves my cutie mark per say.. i can..sing to them." Some of the guards laughed thinking it was a joke.she wasn't joking.
The creature would grab you and carry you off, ignoring the spirits. It carried you with much roughness, not much politeness in the ride at all.
she cried getting hurt and bleeding a little. she tried to sing to prove her talent but she was to scared.
As they would arrive, the creature pushed the large throne room doors open. He would walk to the throne chair, roughly setting down the mare before a pitch black Alicorn.
she was at this point crying and shaking a little her legs bleeding a bit from the shackles. she was still trying to sing. to prove she was innocent.
"What the hell!" He would yell out, making you think it was your singing at first, "What is with the shackles, come on!" He would then use magic to make the chuckles disappear, and using a blanket he made of magic, he would use the magic to teleport the blanket unto her back. He would sigh, "Now then, what is a mare like you be doing here?" (Hold off on the song for now, what till a few more posts)
(ok) She was shocked by his kindness but gently spoke "I-i was trying to find out why i can see spirits..let along sing their messages..my old teacher explained my answer to who i am supposed to be was here..its okay if you dont believe me. I can prove my talent anyway you wish."
"I say let her," The Steward said with a sly smirk, "I would not mind seeing this at all." "Okay lets elaborate Rust, were you not supposed to leave already?" The Alicorn would ask back. "But the ships oxygen tanks are not symmetrical!" "So what if they are symmetrical?! Its not like it will be in the end of the world!!" "People are going to die aboard my ship!" "No they won't!"
she growled and her eyes glowed she began to sing while looking at the steward he called Rust "I know there's something in the wake of your smile.I get a notion from the look in your eyes, yea.You've built a love but that love falls apart.Your little piece of heaven turns too dark. Listen to your heart when he's calling for you.Listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do.I don't know where you're going and I don't know why, but listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye." then she looked at Blade. she can tell their fighting over silly things was taking a toll on him "Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile.The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yea.They're swept away and nothing is what is seems,the feeling of belonging to your dreams. And there are voices that want to be heard.So much to mention but you can't find the words.The scent of magic,the beauty that's been when love was wilder than the wind." when she finished she waited for their response she then noticed the guards were in shock "What? was it the song? i can sing another"
The guards were in shock with how well the other spirits had reacted, as if a calm breeze passed by all beings, even spiritual, calming them all from the stress and tension. The only one unaffected though, would seem to be Bladerunner, "Where did you learn that?" He would ask, turning from his brother.
"From a lady alicorn..she is with us now..actually shes always been here watching you. she says your her sons. She used me to say a message and she said you knew what it meant and im guessing these guards know it too." she gently takes her book back and looked at the King "I am Laughing lake.and my main reason here originally was food and research. Now all i have is research some small wounds and a slight headache" She looked to the left as if talking to someone "No offence miss queen its not your fault its more your sons. For a king and a steward and i dont mean any rudeness they act like little brats over something silly"
BladeRunner was confused by this action, but calling them brats was an understatement, or thats what he thought. The Steward looked to the mare, "She needs to get medicated-" "Hold on a second Rust," Blade would interrupt, "Who are you talking to miss Lake?"
