Canterlot, city of splendors and fashion. A haven for Equestria's elite and home to Princess Luna and Celestia. To Frozen, Canterlot was just another stop on the weary road of eternity. From Saddle Arabia to the silk roads of Chineigh, Frozen had wandered the corners of the earth in search of answers he felt he may never find. Now, in a quiet inn in Canterlot, Frozen listened to the sound of minstrels playing and let his weary mind wander.
Princess Celestia was working in her study as always, doing the usuall stuff, managing poitics, taking care of her citizens, etc. Princess Luna was sleeping in her room with his husband, Darkness Knight. The fact that Luna had gotten married made Tia feel... lonely sometimes.
Frozen had admired Celestia from afar for many years. Now, as he gazed up at the castle from the window of the pub, he wondered what she was like in person. He sighed; It wasnt as though he could ever meet her, he was a windigo after all. His kind were creatures of legend, hated and feared by the land of Equestria since the events of hearth's warming eve. Frozen, however, wasn't like his brethren. He was a windigo in exile, a fallen prince who wanted to break his curse and free himself.
A few ponies were going in and out the pub as Frozen looked to the castle. In the castle, Celestia had just finished doig her work.
Frozen sighed and headed out of the pub and up the hill towards to castle. Surely a closer look couldn't hurt could it?"
The castle was full of guards, as always. One of them looked at Frozen. He looked quite... odd or weird for him. Usually, ponies that came to the castle had business in there, but he looked like he didn't had any there. "Hey, you what are you doing here?" The guard asked him. At her study, Tia felt some sort of magic, quite old and familiar.
"That is right." The guard reply. "The castle is closed today." Celestia went to the balcony of her study and noticed the pony talking with the guard. She felt the magic comming from that direction.
Frozen slowly looked up, and was petrified as he made eye contact with the object of his admiration and fear. Could she sense his true self? If so, would she have him arrested? A cold chill ran down his spine.
Celestia looked at the guard and the other pony. There was only one way to make sure that the magic she felt came from him. She went back inside and talked to a guard. The guard went outside with them. "Princess Celestia wants to see you." He said, then turned to the other guard. "Let him in." He said.
A cold chill ran down Frozen's spine. There was no turning back now, no turning away. If he ran she would know. Quietly he nodded and followed the guards inside.
"Sister, are you alright?" Luna asked Celestia after a moment. She just had woken up, then felt the same magic that she felt. "Oh..." "Yes sister." Tia said once she noticed that she also felt it. "Let's go to the throne room to see this 'pony'" She said. Luna nodded and followed her, having behind her husband.
Frozen stopped quietly at the bottom of the staircase leading to the thrones of the two sisters. "I am so dead.."
Celestia sat in her throne, and Luna sat beside her. Darky was not sure what was going on, so he just sat quietly beside his wife. Both Luna and Tia felt the magic even closer. The guard looked to Frozen. "You can go in now." He said.
Frozen slowly moved into the room, the tail of his cerulean cloak blowing in the gentle breeze around him. He stopped before the princesses in quiet expectation.
Celestia looked at the pony. He... didn't looked quite as she expected to be. The little pale white unicorn didn't looked like a real threat to all of them... he even looked a bit cute for her. Luna take a closer look to hi. Both Tia and Luna knew the magic came from him. "Tell me, what is your name?" Tia asked Frozen in a serious yet calm voice.
"Frozen.." he said timidly, "My name is Frozen heart." Did she know? She didn't seem to be aggressive. Perhaps..just maybe..she would let him leave with his life.
