Hey there, Snowy! I wouldn't worry too much about how open you are about being a brony. I understand what you mean by getting over knowing you enjoy the show. It took 2 or 3 weeks for me to finally come to terms with it. Apparently there are 5 stages of brony development. Nobody IRL knows about it, and for now, I intend to keep it that way. You'll find that there are others like us here, as well as those that are very open about it, and plenty in-between. However, you've joined a very welcoming community of individuals that all share a common interest, and that, of course is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. So no need to feel weird about it here. With that said, welcome to Everypony! I hope you enjoy your stay with us!
Hay, Snowy! Welcome to the Herd! And, yeah, don't really worry about weather you're closeted or not - sometimes it just works out better for you. I'm semi-closeted; my friends know, but people at work and family don't know. Mostly because I don't really care if they know. Oh, I should add that I'm the second oldest brony here, so I'm used to being the weird one, the outcast. My family never understood me, and my friends understand me much better, so I made them my family. So - don't feel weird, just sit back, and enjoy the show!
