Hi there, my names Daredevil. I guess an introduction is in order...I've been a bronc for a week now, love the show, love the show. Honestly, I was skeptical at first...but ponies kept popping up everywhere, on forums I visited in avatars and signatures, memes started, etc. It wasn't until a member of a forum I frequent the most posted a 'Brony thread' that I finally said to myself: "Alright, I might as well see what all the fuss is about." Man was I blown away. It was a show that I never thought I would be a fan of...really, it suprised me how good it was. Course, now I'm getting flamed for being one on said forum, but I don't care...because this shows awesome, and thats all that matters to me~ Also, my favorite Pony is Twilight Sparkle.
Welcome to the site Daredevil. You can rest assured there will be no flaming here, as some of us have been judged for liking MLP (I'm still in the closet about it). If they're hating just retaliate with more ponies!! I do hope you stick around and hang with us!
Welcome Daredevil! I'm pretty new here myself, but it does seem a flame-free zone - probably because too many people get flamed on other forums. Y'know, I never thought of it as being "in the closet" or out of it, but it's an interesting analogy, if, perhaps, not completely accurate. I wouldn't say I'm in a closet on it - those closest to me, the ones I care about, know of my passions. The rest, well, if they ask, I'll tell them, but I don't volunteer anything. If I had a FiM t-shirt or something, I'd wear it, but money's tight right now, so I can't buy any merchandise.

I'm Yeti, nice to meet you. heh, I know what you're into because I've made infected one forum I go to with ponies myself, and just reactions were.. interesting. but on end there has poped up quite lot of us bronies who started to watch the show because of that topic. now we have official mlp topic on board . of course there are haters, but there's lot of us actually (luckily, on that forum people are very understanding and civilized, well most of them. )

Great to have a new member as always, i'm only on my 2nd week of bronydom myself. I see you like Twilight Sparkle she's pretty awesome but as mature as a Brony you will eventually realise Fluttershy is the best pony and you will Praise her!

Hey there, Daredevil! Welcome to Everypony! The process in which I became a fan is similar to yours. I, too, started seeing the memes and other pictures show up and saw a thread on a forum I used to visit about MLP:FiM and figured I'd see what it was all about. Good thing I did too. Also, it's nice to see a Twilight Sparkle fan. She's not my personal favorite, as you can guess by my avatar, my favorite is Fluttershy. (Looks over at avatar. Wait a minute, no, that's not right). Actually, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are essentially tied for 1st place for me. I just can't decide which one I like more, but Twilight follows right after since I can relate to her on some levels. Anyway, I'm digressing now. Once again, welcome!
