...I don't know what I'm doing here. Never tried a forum before and I don't even know if I'm doing this much right. I'm assuming I'm supposed to put why I joined or something like that.. right? Well, I really don't have a solid answer to that question. I am and may always be a loner. It's not who I want to be though, which might be why I joined. I don't like being alone.. but I'm really afraid and sort of shy. When I'm spoken to directly, I panic and flea. I don't talk like a normal person, either. I've been somewhat like a mute for so long that I don't know how to properly communicate with others. I'm a total fool.. right? I just don't get how this works.. Still, I want to get better. I don't want to be left all alone again.. but I don't want to irritate anyone either. I can't ever seem to make up my mind or say the right thing.. If I'm going to be bothering you, please tell me and I'll try my best to change or I'll leave.. I don't want to be a hindrance any longer. I'm actually a lot like you, my co workers rag on me sometimes for being a 'mute' because I rarely ever talk, so I know exactly how you feel. Quite a few of us are like that here, so you'll fit right in. I know how it is to be shy and join a forum for the first time, it can be a bit intimidating at first, but once you get a bit more comfortable it's a very enjoyable and laid back way of socializing with other people who have some of the same interests you do. You picked a good forum to start with though, everyone is very friendly and accepting here, we'll never bash your opinions or tell you to leave. We're just cool like that What I usually do when I first join a forum is to hang back and just browse through threads in different sections to get a feel for the place, then make a post here or there in topics I'm really interested in or feel confident discussing. Just go at your own pace and before long you get the hang of it and you'll fit right in. If you have any questions about anything, feel free to message me and ask.
