"Oh... Ah knew I should never've traded in ma gun for a set a wrenches!" Taffy moaned to herself, sitting up in a dead tree, staying just out of range of the barbed tails of the angry radscorpions below. She'd managed to disturb a nest while digging around in an old half-buried carriage, and had barely made it into the tree unharmed. She'd had to leave her beloved tools behind, so she couldn't even pelt the awful things with screwdrivers. She sat in her tree and stared longingly at her saddlebags, lying in the dirt just behind the snapping scorpions.
"So, why is mom not coming?" Lullaby asked Darky as she hurried up to catch with him. ((Forgot to say. Lullaby was affected by taint when she was a foal, so she lost her alicorn powers. Darky is looking for a cure.)) "She had to take care of our home dear. You know she is in charge there." Darky replied as he walked, his sword in his back as well as his sniper rifle. Lullaby nodded and slowed down to be with Lucky once more, nuzzling him a bit
Ace walked thru the woods His dark grey mane neatly combed back with the red line of his mane clearly standing out He sighed, his grey chest fur falling from the release of air as his blue eyes darted around looking for any threats So far nothing Ace needed to get to the coast and try to find his sister She had been frozen too but was thawed sooner then him
Unknown to Taffy, a bored pair of eyes were watching her from above... A pair of eyes that were thoroughly confused. "... I honestly have no idea what I'm looking at." Arcus thought, tilting his head as he looked at the mare... Sitting in a tree, hiding from radscorpions. Well, then. "What kind of lunatic runs about without weapons? Seriously, ponies these days..." he muttered to nopony in particular, unslinging his bow in one fluid motion. This definitely would give him something to do... Arcus drifted down towards the tree, the flaps of his wings registering only as the slightest of whispers. Now, hovering almost directly above Taffy, he called out: "See, that's why you try to avoid radscorpion nests..."
Lucky smiled and put his wing over her "Plus she needs to watch hope" he told lullaby as thunder landed next to him, his wings stretching to make them relax "Anything ahead?" Ace asked receiving a few clicks from thunder The all gray Pegasus looked tired from flying ahead and back "Thunder says the coast is up ahead...no lab" lucky said to darky with a sad look
"Thank you..." Darky limited himself to say with a small smile. Lullaby snuggled lucky a bit and smiled ti Thunder, sort if statting to understand him...sort of. She was kind if getting used to when he said yes or no only. Darky couldnt help but notice some radscorpions were gathering at a place... odd. He decided to follow them from affar
Qaline stalked through the forest. Her target was a hard one to track. "I hate hunting pegasi" she muttered. she froze when she heard faint hoofsteps, then stalked towards them. had she found her prey? When she saw the gray stallion she bit her lip to keep from cursing. yet another false alarm.
"Wah!" Taffy cried, surprised by the sudden voice, and nearly falling out of the tree. She looked around, but couldn't see anypony, just trees, dirt and radscorpions. Were the radscorpions talking to her? She shook her head. She must be hearing things. She stood up awkwardly, and started checking herself for sting wounds. Maybe she hadn't been fast enough, and the venom was playing tricks on her mind?
Ace looked around again and.... (That's not a natural color) he thought as his 44 magnum came out from his jacket and aimed at the odd color "Show your self" he said as his dog tags caught on the sun and shined in her eyes
Arcus watched the mare cry out, wibble, wobble, then look around in all directions... Literally every direction. Except up. "... You serious?" Arcus shook his head in disbelief, before dropping eeeeeeven lower... Ending up in a hover right behind the mare. "Well? Can you see me now?"
Lucky raised his eyebrow "Is that a pony in a tree?" He asked before turning to thunder He looked half asleep and probably over looked it cause it wasn't the building they were looking for
"Follow me. I think I am up to something..." Darky said to Lullaby and Lucky as he gestured them to follow him. Lullaby, unsure what to say, followed, not paying attention to the other two stallions
(that was quick) she thought as she stepped out. "well, hello. nice to meet you. but you're not my target, so if you would kindly let me leave, I would greatly appreciate it" she said dryly
Aces eyes squinted He was unsure of her "Why....who are you?" He asked as he also pulled out his sniper so if she knocked one gun out of his magical grasp he could still shoot her
Lucky and thunder looked at each other as darky and lullaby just walked away from them Clicking "Ya ya ya, I know I married her" lucky said with a smile as he started to walk after them with thunder
"I'd rather not divulge my name. I'm an assassin, and the bounty I'm currently hunting isn't on your head, so I don't want a fight. what are those dog tags for?" she inquired as she walked away from cover, making sure not to do anything threatening. this stallion intrigued her. "what's YOUR name?"

Lullaby let out a small giggle as Lucky said that, smiling a bit at that as she followed her father. Radscorpions usually didnt do that. After a while of walking he found the source. Some ponies in a tree
Taffy frowned, looking down at the radscorpions, before slowly turning around to see if there was somepony hiding behind one of the trees... "Gah!" She cried, unexpectedly coming face to face with a silver pony. She jumped in surprise, and then flailed dramatically as she began to fall backwards, towards the radscorpions...
