Many of you may have noticed album images, attachments and the like have been broken on the site for some time now. I've looked into it and believe there is a problem with the server permissions, I've contacted the owner but haven't received a reply yet. In the mean time I've set up a new folder and changed the vbulletin system to store attachments in that, this seems to be working. So in a nutshell you should be able to upload and see any new attachments but the old ones are still lost, for the time being at least. I'll keep you updated. - Grey
Alright, well at least the problem was narrowed down. I read on the vB support forums a few days ago that the permissions for those files and directories need to be chmod'd to 777.

We're not entirely sure what the problem was, but everything seems to be working again. The folder's weren't under our FTP control, so that certainly didn't help and Ghan disabled the asset manager as that seemed to be bugging uploads. All *fingers crossed* seems well now though, old attachments seem to work and uploading seems to work. If you spot any other problems, please let me know. Thanks for your patience
Does the "Radio", "Chat", etc. Graphics popping up in the middle of people's posts count? It was probably just my iPad, the App crashed soon after that, but thought I might as well mention it. Here probably wasn't the place...

It hasn't happened again since the app crashed; after I reloaded it everything was working fine. But it was also telling me my post had "too few characters" (it was a massive post). I hate iPads sometimes. But anyways, it was almost certainly just a problem on my end. No worries, at least for you. ^^
