I've heard that Hasbro is gonna remove the YouTube accounts that has whole episodes of MLP:FIM, and that Hub's website is gonna be the only site where you can watch the show. Is that true? I can't reach Hub's website.... Hugzzz /lovexyah
A lot of people can't. I can get onto the site, but I can't view the MLP videos on it. Apparently, you only can in America or something. Y'know, if you have Boomerang, I think they have MLP on that. However, not everyone can get to that channel, so everyone else is just pretty much left in the dark... I heard of a site that has almost all the episodes on it in another topic. I'll look for it. Edit; Raindash said it Yesterday in the Sad day for bronies thread. This is the post. Raindash you absolute beast!
The problem with that is it is megavideo which has a watch limit of 70 minutes a day and on a college campus that shares an IP address, that doesn't work out too well because people use megavideo all the time.
Well the good news is that Cyzzacle's channel is still up on youtube. I suggested to him he make it private until this all blows over.
I have boomerang... :Trollestia: However, it only airs Season 1... Unlike most, I can live without ponies. It's the community I'm mostly bothered about. Bonus, if I don't watch ponies, they invade my dreams, which I find better.
Well, I think Hasbro can get their own account on YouTube, so that they wont buck with the bronies that wants to share the magic of friendship...
The random attack from Hasbro may be hinting toward a DVD release, or maybe they will be creating a site to host the episodes. I'm quite sure they are aware of the international audience, and while they are a corporation, are they really going to be that cruel? Maybe, but it seems like they are doing this for a reason, not just because of copyright issues. We were originally told that episodes could be streamed on YouTube, why the sudden change?
yes, Hasbro is one that's taking YouTube accounts down (confirmed by Hasbro). However, they said that it'll all be on HubWorld, but they weren't aware that (at least person I talked to) it was region lock. She (person from Hasbro) forwarded my message to HubWorld, and hopefully they will remove region lock, and stream all episodes. I've also gave them an example of South Park that has South Park Studios.com, where they stream all episodes world wide, and site is owned by Comedy Central (TV station that created South Park), and that South Park did well with international streaming (controlled by CC) (also they would have options on putting their ads). Also, they said that they don't plan on making their own youtube channel.
I'd invest faith in Hasbro to make it more widely accessible. After all, it has been dubbed in quite a lot of languages already. It would only set them back if they denied the episodes to anyone outside of the US.
I would hope that they dont ban the kind yt ppl. they are nice and I don't get anything up here in canada, most I get is treehouse...
Not bad, Hub, not bad... Hubworld seems to be proxy-proof for most trustworthy proxies (notably Google Translate and Cached), and I have yet to test it on TOR.
And then I was like: I live on the correct side of the internet. Do I want use the proxy redirect server in California or Ohio? No, I think I'll do New York. Lower latency. Living on the correct side of the internet. What's the best benefit? Proxy chains. Canada->Stockholm->Ohio->Sydney->Los Angelas->Shanghai All of the latency.
If Hub decided to stream all the episodes, they better have it in high quality. At least 720p... Then again, I already have the first season. :derpe:
Not quite everyone is as paranoid a snail as you. Or has the same list of random proxies as you. Google, however, everyone has. And it works 50% of the time.
