Was your favorite pony your favorite pony from the very first moment you became a Brony and or Pegasister depending on your gender, short answer short in my case my answer is no from the very first moment I became a Brony my favorite pony was a tie between Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash however when I saw episodes like A Dog and Pony Show, Sisterhooves Social and Sweet and Elite my opinion about Rarity changed and she proved to me that not only did I like her singing voice and her comedic lines and moments the most plus while she might not be as cute as characters like Fluttershy or Sweetie Belle you do have to admit she is really cute so yeah there you go?
In the beginning, I was extremely fond of Flutters, but after a while, I realized that Pinkie Pie was a much nobler character; she has one purpose in life, and that is to make everyone else happy. Now, Pinkie still remains my favorite, with Twilight a close second.
Well when I started I couldn't decide who I liked best... I only knew I couldn't stand pinkie and her outrageous personality... I later decided Applejack was my favourite... However pinkie, my least favourite... Became my second favourite pretty quickly... And they remain my top two... The Earth ponies funnily enough... Go AJ & PP
Flutters...always...I just...connected herself to me...not many friends, always doesn't talk that much...she's like me...so that's why I like her...also, she's too cute to not be my first.
my fav would have to be pinkie, she isnt always happy, but when she is she loves to make her friends smile too

Even before starting to watch the show, Luna was the first pony I knew and liked and still is still my favorite.
I never really had a "favorite pony" and I probably never will. I like ALL of the characters. They are ALL good in their own, unique, individual way. That's probably how it will stay for me at least... :derpe:
From when I joined the fandom, November 2012 to March 2013 Luna was my favourite. Then Flitter, Cloud Chaser's sister/best friend (however you like to view their relationship) became my favourite. And she still is till this day.
well.. yes, but practically everyone else greatly shifted in terms of my opinion of them ;p Twilie is my favorite, and I'll leave it at that in regards to ranking for now. Also what you said about Rarity in the first post made me think of something. As silly as it sounds I actually have come to learn things from this show, and it's never been the lessons they directly state or make obvious. It will probably sound way too serious and rather silly at the same time, but I've kind of wondered if I should write those out for people some day.
