I'm mainly making this thread because I haven't seen the new episode yet, and I want something to do on Everypony without spoilers haha.
Anyway, what are some weird fears and phobias that you all have?

I'll go ahead and give you two of mine.
I really REALLY don't like goats and clay-mation.

Hmm, I think Nucleomituphobia is really a normal thing.

I'm afraid of being stuck in an elevator with a bored dentist.

    No, really!

OK, not really. I'm not exactly afraid of heights, but when I get near the ledge of a building, or the edge of a cliff, I get this weird giddy feeling that I'm falling/flying. Almost if I step off, I won't fall, but just float away. Yeah, not really a fear, actually I kind of like the feeling.

Um, yeah, well . . . *mumbles* Can't really think of any fears I have.

I don't know if they're "weird," but the ones I have that I'm aware of arachnophobia (fear of spiders), acrophobia (fear of heights), and since Saikyo posted it (you have quite a bit there), Aviophobia (fear of flying).

Speaking of arachnophobia, I don't know if I could ever live in Australia, or any other places that have those Huntsman spiders. Although I don't like spiders, I can manage to watch a video of them. A question to anyone that lives in regions where these spiders are; How can you live with these?! Are you just used to it? I'd buy a flamethrower or something to take care of these guys! lol. The spiders where I live don't get much bigger than the size of a US quarter (including legs), and many are smaller than that.

Don't watch if you have extreme arachnophobia, to the point where you can't even watch a video of them.

Must I love and tolerate the **** out of spiders too? Heh.

Fear of spiders isn't all that weird, is it?

Hmmm...I have an odd aversion to mirrors. Not any reflective surface like the hood of a car or something, just...mirrors. I don't know why. I think I saw a commercial for a horror movie that had a scary mirror-based moment when I was pretty young, and that's stuck with me, I guess?

It's the fact that they are a nuclear superpower; super terrified of Nukes in general; I have to turn off Black Ops whenever someone calls in a nuke; I'm that scared of em.

Hmm, I have a few I know of...
Fear of darkness... I quite literally get terrified in the darkness, when alone/no one else is awake. Sometimes I cover myself with a blanket while turning off the light and run like a madman :p
Fear of intrusion/privacy? ...not sure if this is one. But I'm highly paranoid of certain things, imagining burglars/etc and often being on an edge when alone, unless I'm totally absorbed in something.
Both are mainly visual, for instance I often look behind/walk near walls/etc. I think it has something to do with that in the past as a little kid, I often imagined monsters and the sort in the darkness and where I wasn't looking. And I don't think I ever got over it is all.

Y'know, I'm surprised more people don't have Australiaphobia. I mean, the rocks are poisonous down there!* At least here in the States, most spiders can't kill you easily. Unless you're allergic, or some such. I suppose I'm lucky, I've been bitten by spiders, stung by wasps and bees, and attacked by fire ants, but nothing serious. *tries to look innocent*

Ah-hem, any ways, yes them spiders in Australia are something else. And you don't have to love them, just accept that they're living creatures with the rights of all living creatures.

    *Not really.

If anyone can give me the real term for these I'd appreciate it:

    Fear of the Dark
    Fear of surprises
    Fear of death
    Fear of knives
    Fear of being alone
    Fear of being unloved
Fear of being single (I guess these last three go together?)
    Fear of piercings
    Fear of public speaking
    Fear of Failure
    Fear of alarms
    Fear of door bells

    Need I go on?

My phobia's Are listed on the bottom of this.

    Fear of Hell
    Fear of Demons
    Fear of Death
    Fear of Zombies
Fear of Suicide (If i was so depressed in my life, I could never kill my self, nor do i want to for any reason)
Fear of Alone/Unloved/Single Forever (Your not alone on this one, Zephyr)
    Fear of Failure
and last is Fear of Needles (Hate them so much)

I try not to Fear these things since Fear is the mind killer.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.

Hmm, failure of hell/demons/death/public speaking I can relate to as well...
But public speaking fear? Not so much when I get really angry though... XD
Still, termology of fear of darkness...
I looked it up when writing my previous post. It's got several names, but I think Nyctophobia is the most commonly associated/used term.
The others are arguable though.... the idea of "fear of darkness" branches into several different terms.

    Achluophobia

    Hormephobia (shock, actually)

    Necrophobia

    aichmophobia (well, sharp objects)

    Autophobia

    Autophobia

Anuptaphobia (So, actually, the first two are the same, the last one considered different)

Um, I suppose Aichmophobia, fear of needles or pointed objects.

Glossophobia (actually, I consider this normal)

    Atychiphobia

    ligyrophobia (loud noises, actually)

Um, I guess that's ligyrophobia as well, but might be xenophobia. Any particular reason you fear door bells?

At least you don't have pastryphobia.

And, you know, in all seriousness, I forgot my one real fear - Fear of Success.

Hmm... it changed a lot throughout my life and I'm not only talking about diffrence between child fears and my current ones...
It's like all the events from not actually long past... affected my personality and my phobias with it.
For now the things I'm the most afraid of are propably very common:
    - being hopeless and not having a possibility or rather strength to change that
    - fear of losing the money needed to live
    - of course fear of failure
    - and fear of being alone/unloved

Can't think of any more right now.

Thanks Dwynter! As for door bells, it's because I hate answering the door. I don't know if it's just going to be my brother or mom, or some weirdo banging on my door. I don't like it when people come to my house.
