This used to be a happy place where i could come to relax. Now it's an abyss of darkness that causes me daily stress. For about a year, ever since the first day i became a moderator, i've been the target of senseless uncalled for harrassment and needless taunting mostly by one single person. After having to take his crap (being a moderator) for nearly a year, recently i requested this person to be severely disciplined for his constant repeated lousy behaviour, and they refused because... After all, they got banned for doing the exact same things. Wouldn't be fair to ban them when others with the same behaviour are allowed to stay. Aside from this person, there used to be, and always will be people who know how to dance around the rules. People who know where the line is and know how not to cross it. They know when to back off long enough for things to cool down only to do it all over again when the time is right. These are the people moderators "can't" ban because "they're doing nothing wrong." I used to think there were at least a few people here who still gave a crap, but now it's obvious to me there's nothing good left on this website. Those with the power to make this site a better place aren't doing anything to that end. I'll be checking this thread until sunday-ish. After that, maybe i'll poke in if i ever feel like it. I'm done trying to help knowing all my efforts are wasted anyway. I want to make it perfectly clear my opinions are strictly proffesional. I have nothing against any of you on a personal level. When i said my opinions were strictly proffesional, i was talking about my opinions on the staff, not the entire community. And as far as the community goes, there's only one person who pisses me off.
We've never talked, but after surfing through som threads that had you in it, I'm not surprised to see you write something like this. You can assume what you want, and say what you want to, but I'm sure that someone is going to miss you down in this "abyss of darkness". I know of the situation you speak of, but most of all I wish to say I'll miss you around Rarit. You were on Staff since I joined the site, and only recently left, which is an upsetting moment for me. Especially when I expected you to hang on longer. To me, you were a great number of things, someone I looked up to. When something came up which I had to appoint you were mainly on it and fast. Although I could see you leaving soon, it still upsets me so. Good luck in the future, Rarit. Hopefully we shall speak in the time ahead.

They refused because, regardless of his attitude or behaviour recently, being negative and sarcastic isn't against the rules by any means. It would have been unfair and uncalled for to ban him for anything longer. He probably even shouldn't have gotten a ban at all; you should count yourself lucky that your influence had at least some effect in the outcome of a few days prior. Regardless, I, and I know for certain a few others, are going to miss you here. I hope you come back soon when things have gotten better.
Yet another stab at changing the staff. This seems to be one of the most common complaints. Add another tally. If we get a couple orders of magnitude, then they might change things up.
I expected myself to hang on longer too, but i just don't see a good reason anymore. We're all still in the same skype room anyway. Maybe it's me, but i doubt that's what you really wanna say. So taking stabs at me isn't against the rules? Constant taunting and uncalled for insults are allowed? At one time he even dedicated a thread to bringing me down, and for all the times i asked why, he never even gave me a decent answer. Even if it's not against the rules (which imo it is), can you at least understand why i consider him to be all the things i called him a few days ago? I'm not intentionally taking stabs at anyone and i'm not trying to "inspire" anything this time. I know it won't work anyway.
Yes, I can understand. Everyone has their breaking points, for sure. I do understand. I'm just seeing it from a neutral standpoint like I should have done many times before; in a way I'm trying not to be biased here.
