Hello everypony! This is an old thread I started a while back when I first joined the site, and its main purpose is written in the title, hehe. A few other forum pages I visit frequently have a special topic like this one, so I thought that Everypony's Network could use one as well. Most of the threads like these are often quite successful, and this one has had a pretty good run, so far. For those of you wondering why I posted this, I did it so everyone could: - View each other's desktop backgrounds. - Explain what some of the special gadgets that they have on their desktop. (Example: Rainmeter, Desktop Ponies, etc.) - Exchange ideas about how to help others improve their own layout. - Look up some rather fascinating, and beautiful, wallpapers. - Browse around and see what everypony likes. Anyway, if you're up to it, feel free to post a screenshot of your desktop in here. You may spoil your image if you want to, but it's not mandatory. For those of you who don't quite know how to take a screenshot of your desktop, simply do the following: 1.) Minimize any open windows/tabs/etc. 2.) Press and hold down the "Shift" key. 3.) Press down the "Print Screen/SysRq." key. 4.) Open up MS Paint, or what you choose to do this with. 5.) Paste the background image, and save the image. (PNG format highly recommended.) From now on, please limit how many images you post on here. Please post no more than two (2) in each post you make. If you wish to post more, only post the direct link(s) to the image(s). Some of the images on here can make each page unusually long in length, and sometimes even drag the browser itself. I'm just letting you guys know to watch how much you post. I'll start us off:

Changes periodically though, for example now it's that butterscotch sundae one viper made which I have been meaning to remove from the list.

lol, I wanted to post this topic today lol anywho, since I'm logged on windows you'll get few fresh ones from right now and few from linux which I got from other foums where I posted same thing (while on linux) (Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.04) I have slideshow desktop on both os's and it changes every minute. since you can already see all Miles24's on his topic, here are some of those that aren't made by him (click on image for full size): ^Ed (from Best Ed) ^Buddy ( from Best Ed) ^how ironic. well since I have same set on both linux and windows, it has more sence on linux xD that's it for now. I have many more. + all pony ones made by Miles24 (derpy one is only one that's pony related, and not made by Miles24)
The pony's name is "High Voltage," you like? Created him using General Zoi's Pony Creator on deviantART. I then screen'd it and opened it up in Photoshop, added in that awesome blue lightning background and the one-of-a-kind cutie mark. :derpe: EDIT: Forgot to mention that this was an update. * Checks first post. *
Oh yay, topics like this. My desktop isn't even worth showing, but I guess I'll show it. It cycles through 300+ wallpapers... ... Interesting, right?

Quite literally my wallpaper is my desktop. There are no icons, and the taskbar is on Autohide. (Click for full version). Oh and yes, i did this.
I'm incredibly fussy with my desktops. :< So I have no passable pony ones yet. Damn straight you don't. -Foxytail
