what is this for exactly? I mean, what kind of bronies is this for? what kinds of discussions? what kinds of discussions are appropriate? what can you do here? should I discuss things in a current way? how should I talk to people here? what kind of brony stuff is here? what kind of brony stuff can I put here? can I talk about my stuff? can I talk about other people's stuff? does it have to be pony? does it have to be brony? how do I decide where each discussion go? can I put the same discussion in a different forum? how long can I talk about a topic? can I reopen a topic as a different post? is this a Rp forum? is this a place where I can talk about stuff for other websites? is it recommended to talk about stuff for other websites? can I advertise here? is there spam? is there a ranking system? is there a clique or group system? what kind of bronies should I interact with? should I keep to that group? some of this may sound like common web-sense but I'm not much of a web guy and I just what to make sure.
This a social media site that caters to most type of bronies and allows for any type of discussion, pony and non-pony, that abides by the rules which can be found here. You should look around the site more if you want to know. And besides, haven't you been here for a year already?
Wow that was a lot of questions in one post o.o I think the answers to most of your questions can be found in the rules, but a lot of those are not really things we can tell you either. We can't tell you "what kind of bronies to interact with", that's just something you have to figure out.
Q: What is this for? A: Anyone interested in this community; doesn't necessarily have to be about ponies. Q: What bronies is this for? A: It's not really 'for' anything or anyone; it's a place where anyone can go to discuss common interests, brony or not. Q: What kinds of discussions are Appropriate? A: Anything, as long as it isn't NC-17 level stuff. Q: What can you do here? A: There are a multitude of threads you can partake in. There is a chat filled with members constantly, and we also have an RP section. Q: Should I discuss things in a current way? A: If possible, yes. Q: How should I talk to people here? A: With courtesy, respect, and intelligence. Q: What kind of brony stuff is here? A: We have community discussion (For bronies in general) and the general MLP discussion, for obvious reasons. If you aren't all that into ponies or anything, there's always General Discussion for non-pony related needs. Q: What kind of brony stuff can I put here? A: Any non-R34 things. Q: Can I talk about my stuff? A: Merchandise Discussion is the perfect place to do so. Q: Can I talk about Other People's stuff? A: See above. Q: Does it have to be pony? A: No. Q: Does it have to be brony? A: Also no. Q: How do I decide which discussion to go to? A: That is up to you. Judge your interests. Q: Can I put the same discussion in a different forum? A: Technically, no. Q: How long can I talk about a topic? A: As long as you want. Just keep it on-topic. Q: Can I re-open a topic as a different post? A: Yes, you can, or you can revive an old thread. If it's a locked thread, however, please do not make another thread about that subject. Q: Is this an RP forum? A: It can be. Q: Is this a place where I can talk about other websites? A: Yes, but you cannot advertise without moderator approval. Q: Can I advertise? A: See above. Q: Is there spam? A: We have a bot that gets rid of spambots automatically. Q: Is there a ranking system? A: No, not any more. Q: Is there a clique or group system? A: Yes, but it often goes unused for better or for worse. Q: What kind of bronies should I interact with? A: Again, up to you. There are plenty of non-bronies like myself who would love to have a good discussion. Q: Should I keep that to a group? A: If you want to make a group and invite people to it for discussion, then by all means. Hope this helps you or anyone else who may have questions about the site and its structure/community.
