You wake in a massive plaza, all around you the bodies of the dead surround you. All you remember is your name and where you are, Remembrance Plaza. It was a massive open area with fountains placed at perfect points meant to cool the place. Surrounded the plaza was a two story collonaded area that once had held stores that were now empty. A extreme few others also pick themselves up from the dead, all with the same problems as you. Now you must figure out why everypony died and get you memory back, good luck.
Silver's world seemed to sway and turn as she woke from her slumber. The very ground itself threatened to throw her off the world. There was a blunt pressure against her back and a cold stone-like material at her stomach. A sudden wave of nausea dominated her thoughts, causing her to throw out a pained groan. She attempted to get up, but it was to no avail. A few more attempts were rewarded with the same event; nothing. Silver turned her head and opened one of her eyes. As she located the pressure holding her down, she was overcome with another wave of nausea. There was the corpse of a pony laying on her back! She threw it off and leaned forward, this time giving way to her stomach. She sent bile retching all over the stones beneath her, feeling weaker than she had before. 'D- d- dead bodies!?' she whimpered as she examined her surroundings. The corpses of ponies lay everywhere that the eye could see. It was horrifying! Silver lay back down, now having panic attacks in her mind. 'This is not happening. This is not happening. This is not happening...'
Tim woke up in a painful stupor. Surveying the area he noticed ponies... Dead. Some of their bodies littered the floor, some burnt up piles of ashes with stains in the ground. Others just lying there. "Sthi'ck cict'i T'nict?" Tim said before realizing that he was currently in his Changling form. Only after noticing this did he feel the pain in his wing. There was a massive tear in it. and the other wing was almost severed. Pulling himself together he looked at a pony who was still whole and took form of him, a Peach unicorn pony, Grey eyes, Brown mane with a beard. And a cutie mark that looked like a pocket with pens and pencils in it.. He surveyed the area before witnessing a horror, a pony still alive strewn from ropes. "H..HELP!" He shouted before finally taking one last step into the final slumber. "Where the #$%! am I, Why is this happening?" Tim said. Edit: Note to self, don't go into too much detail.
Dark's eyes fluttered to show her the ground dangling tens of feet below. She instantly took off, backpeddaling in fright. She calmed down and took stock of where she was, some instinct inside of her allowing her to keep a completely level head as she studied the dead around her. She was on top of a massive podium (Think a roman Rosta) that towered over the plaza laid out in front of her. The podium was also the only place that wasn't covered in dead and blood, in fact, it was remarkably clean. She looked down to see two moving ponies surrounded by a sea of dead that numbered in the thousands. Dark involuntarily reached for her back, by some honed instinct, and felt a metal rod. She pulled it out and held it with her wings. It was a beautiful weapon, finely ingraved and was meant to be held and fired with her wings. She slid the weapon back where she found it and flew down to the two others, "What's going on?" she asked them.
"Do any of you even know anything! But then again, I don't remember much either. All I know is this place is called Remembrance Plaza in a place called Ponyville, any of you heard of it?"
Rashall woke up a few feet away from the others and even then he remained still. He had never really liked being around those he did not know.
"You still alive?" Orangebolt asked the pony that was lying on the ground. "WAKE UP!" He shouted at the top of his voice.
Medley's eyes fluttered open to reveal another pair of eyes, these ones dead, staring back at him. He shouted and jumped to his feet, and instantly screeching, horror-inducing orchestral music could be heard for several feet in every direction, seeming to emnate from nowhere in particular. Shaking, he stared at the dead body for a few more seconds, then averting his eyes, he looked around him. What he saw, unfortunately, did not make him feel any better.
Dark's head snapped to the sound of a scream and saw another pony there, trying to escape the dead. She instantly took off, and grabbed the pony, flying him to the top of the podium/rostia, "Calm down! Who are you?" She asked him.
Watching the events take place, Tim surveyed the area. Three ponies alive including himself and the third is shouting at a corpse... "This is insanity..." He muttered before noticing a new pony fly down and snatch up one who had just recently woke up and started screaming... Perturbed by the amount of dead, Soon Tim walked over to the Lavender pony, "Hey, Name's Tim, Got any idea where we are and what we're doing? Or... What happened for that matter..." A second later Tim felt the pain in his back once again. "I need to heal my wings..." He thought.
Dark had calmed down the screamer, though he strangely didn't respond, but she just figured it was from the shock of the dead. She noticed a small congragation of life in the feild of death and flew down to them. "Um, hello." She said cautiously, "I am, I think, Dark Light."
Casting his glance upon the newly arrived winged pony. surveying her up and down before coming to some unknown consensus. His features softened into a kind but wary look. "Hello winged pony named Dark Light. Name's Tim, Just Tim, No special second name like most the ponies. Nice to meet you." He expressed awkwardly.
Dark looked suspicously at Tim, he seemed quite the unusual fellow, "Yea, ok. Now, I think that we all need to find out what happened here so we best split up and investigate this place. Whatever did this probably either died themselves are have moved on, no point in staying in a place that has already been wiped out."
