I decided to put this in Community discussion since it's about Lauren Faust, but still, it's not really about MLP. (If it needs to be moved, please do)

We all know how horrid the previous generations of My Little Pony were, and Faust worked miracles on Friendship is Magic. We also know how horrid the Care Bears cartoons and merchandise was. If Lauren Faust decided to make a new generation of Care Bears, would you watch it? :derpe:

EDIT: I found some fan-art on DA. Here's what it could look like:

I'll watch anything if it's good. If I picked based on content I'd never watch things like Wall-E or MLP.

Most things Lauren Faust works on ends up Awesome. I'd watch a few episodes, then decide whether I like what she's done with it. If it was as terrible as it ever has been, probably no, but if it ended up reasonably good, probably yes. *Shrug*

If it's good, I'll watch just about anything. Simple as that. We all watch a show about candy colored ponies. Isn't that proof enough? :derpe:

Dunno. It depends. Even if its lauren behind it. Foster's home for imaginary friends didn't really catch my interest. PPG did.

pretty much what everyone else is saying. if it's a good show, then why not? who cares what the characters are as long as they have interesting personalities and have a good story to back it up.

I didn't like it either. I'm not saying it's a bad cartoon, but it just didn't interest me.

Well, I doubt I would even know if I would even know about these 'new and improved' versions. I even discovered FIM by complete accident, namely through a website called Reddit. So it can be said that without my becoming a redditor and my curiosity, I would not be speaking to you now.

Ha, I'm the opposite. I liked Foster's, but had no interest in PPG. :derpe:

And a good show is a good show. So if it was good, then yes I'd prolly watch it.

Maybe. If it could be just as well written and creative as MLP:FIM is, but not borrowing too heavily from the other show's ideas, then I'd give it a chance.
