ok so i have a theory i am playing with. what if every imaginary universe exists just only in the mind. now of course your saying thats a tulpa or such and in a way yes but the idea of a tulpa is it makes what is not real look real but my theory is different. what if we worked out the math and managed to open a door to.one of.these mental realms for our bodies to travel through?well then in that case it makes that universe real in the perspective of your reality and now the 2 realms are to seperate parts of the same universe as they have basicly combined into a multiverse with multiple realities sorta like when 2 bubbles touch and combine with a wall between what used to be 2 seperate things. sorta like how rooms can add onto a house.now just think maybe equestria is real but because we have not gone there any more than in our imaginations there is still a border of air between the bubbles and they havent combined so since the new room hasnt been added to this house it exists in another house and to us isnt real at all but what happens if we build a hall between this reality and the other imaginary one. i think it would then become part of our reality and thus real to us. so to me equestria is real. sure the characters only exist imaginarily and i know they arent real but i still can dream and pretend they could be right and who knows maybe someday i will see my theory be reality.anyhoo i still know and admit that what is imaginary is only imaginary but i still wish all these fantasy worlds we all have daydreamed of or even pretended were real just because it made us happier or because we were a kid or whatever could be real and that the whole world could be bigger that way. to bad it cant be but hey it might be worth talking and wishing about right?ok so thats the basic start of.my theory but ummm ok so call it a crazy nutjob's ramblings, or call it genious idk but what do yall think is equestria out there? will we perhaps get to meet our favorite cartoon characters and get an autograph just as we would our sports and movie stars. do you think there is any chance.for this crazy nutjob to be right and that somewhere princess luna is wishing she could hug me right now cause ive gotten very close to her in a universe.that someday may be connected as.another universe of reality to.this one or am i just crazy.

but see thats just it. im not saying open your mind to teleport to one. im saying astral project whivh things like that are well known. such as tulpas and lucid dreaming where in the dream you are actually experiencing touching smelling and all that that can't normally happen in a fantasy. so the idea of this thread is not about what is or not purely fantasy bit about is it possible there are ways to get there. as for doing it.through your mibd well no you cant go.there but you can reach out to it with your mind if such things are possible. actually going there well that would require doing alot of math and building a machine even capable of opening a door through the wall of the dimensions not to mention figuring out how to reliably aim to a certian one so you.can get back or even pick just one to go to.

Yeah, basically what Zephyr said. String Theory goes like this: on the most tiny, basic level, the universe is composed of strings, all of which vibrate with the same frequency. A quite basic understanding of how String Theory works would lead one to conclude that the universe splits every time variation is detected within said universe. The strings of which a universe is made cannot vibrate at two frequencies at once. More accurately, new universes are created, equivalent in number to every bit of entropy. This means that for every possible outcome, and every permutation of every possible outcome, there is a universe. Each universe has a different frequency. We cannot, however, cross into different universes. To do so would require us to synchronize ourselves with a different universe that has, at some point, already desynchronized from us. There is no known way to do this, and it is seen as being counter-intuitive.

It's odd thinking that there could be universes that only differ in the most pointless ways possible. Think about it, an ENTIRE universe where I decided to go to sleep at 11:30 instead of 11:45.
I like your theory... However... Reading the brain would be the first step to opening this so called "doorway" you spoke off of course this would have to be a wormhole and it would kind of be like Puting a portal through the corresponding portal sinse this dimension only exists in the persons mind... Meaning that the person could not go through said doorway without becoming trapped in that universe...
actually my theory was that while it is real from its own perspective other universes would be only imaginary till you created a path to it and then it merges with yours. the 2 would still exist as seperate like rooms in a house where as before as far as they were concerned before they were they only real one each from their own perspective with the other being only percieved as.imaginary so while some might easily connect to eachother other may be more difficult to connect based on laws of science and the like. also obce you traveled between the 2 jyst make sure the other has magic or you bring what you need to build and power your dior vack. so you would not be trapped. also it ceases to exist only in your.mibd when it becomes reality to the point of view of your own univefse. the idea was inspired by the ide that noone writes fiction but their brain actually tunes in like a.radio to other universes abd begins letting them tell what happened there in the other universe in whatever tine they tuned into. also all universes are real its just because in your universe they all appear imaginary so they.cant affect you.untill you would be able to link up and combine realuties by way of tearing open a gateway whioch would make bith realities see eachother as real
