So, tell us, what profession do you guys do/want to do? Do you want to be an engineer, or that guy down te street who has worked at McDonald's all his life? Not judging or anything, just tell. My personal plan is to become an skyscraper architect and design the world's first mile tall building, a lofty goal in more than one way. So, what of you guys?
My greatest skill is creative writing and I've always wanted to get into the animation industry as a writer. My problem is, when I try and write a script, I always get stuck partway through, so I could really use a collaborator or two. I've got lots of great ideas for cartoon series and my greatest ambition is to revive the practice of making movies to go along with the show that would be released in theaters rather than going straight to DVD. For example, wouldn't it be great to see a big-screen movie spun off from the Green Lantern cartoon? Or a Thundercats movie that would finish off the show's story if a second season doesn't get made? Or how about Friendship is Magic, for that matter? Just imagine the possibilities...
Um, I don't ever want a profession, dedicating years of my life to one thing sounds like a pretty dull future if you ask me. I would much rather spend my life trying all types of things. I suppose I could say I wanted my profession to be Design, but the problem is I like the idea of Design itself, not a certain facet of design.
I'm not entirely sure quite yet, but a few fields that seem interesting to me include bioinformatics, radiologic informatics, MRI technologist, or positron emission tomography technologist.
I could go anything from working for a national Wildlife park, to being a vet, to being a rescue medic, or Even IT, all those are jobs I am considering, making up my mind to which one however...eeeehhh
I shall be a palaeontologist, and I am already a pianist. :3 I wish to profess my music in the future.
If I could choose anything it would either be voice actor or meteorologist. As to what I really am going to be, well that's up for fate to decide. I have no money or resources to anything credible.
I'd like to be the CEO of an evil organization. I'd hold the world ransom for 1 million dollars on a weekly basis. I must say, it's a darn good way to make money. If i can ever get out of the construction worker business, that is...
I may soon be working as a day time operator for my uncle's e-Cig business as it keeps growing and expanding. Still don't have the storefront's showroom complete, but we've been doing orders and getting walk-ins without advertising. As of late, though, I have not been motivated nor on a schedule to contribute as much as I once have, but that's related to personal stuff. I once wished to be a jeweler, as I have a slight fascination with the beauty of gemstones, as well as that which can be extracted. I'd also enjoy being a musician, though the enormous amount of practice is off putting right now. I'd love to be a writer, but inspiration is such a varied and inconsistent thing to deal with. I wouldn't mind being a producer or electronic musician, but I don't possess all of the technical knowledge, only occasionally dabbling in the music. (Speaking of making electronic music, I need to reacquire Massive so it functions with a DAW I actually like to use.)
