I'm sure that this has been posted many times, but I was to lazy to look. Personally I would be a Pegasus because who doesn't want to fly?
Eh, I chose Pegasus practically a year ago because I'm on the school Track and Cross Country team, so it'd only be natural for me to be associated with the breed mostly known for racing. The RP Chat beckons

Even though I voted for pegasus I would like to be an alicorn because then I can use magic and fly maybe even at the same time .
I don't care about the way people look, unless it can be technically classified as "deformed" in some way. i hate visible muscles. Do those count as unpopular opinions?
I chose pegasus. Not only are they the most awesome (And in my opinion most important) ponies in/to Equestria, but they can fly. For some reason, I have something for flying. I love birds and such... And Unicorns are rubbish at wings
Am i the only one liking earthponys? I just believe, since unicorns have their magic and pegasi have their wings, earthponys must be very strong. Pinkie prooves it by being pinkie and applejack can buck like hundreds of appletrees.
Unicorn would suit me best, despite the fact that nearly all my OCs are earth ponies. They're just a minority, I guess.

I would, above everyone else, become a earthpony. No kidding. My main OC is a unicorn, but i would still be a earthpony. Why? 'Cus i'm thinking reasonably. You see, a human can't utilize magic, ye? A human cannot fly naturally either, ye? So, wouldn't it be entirely logical for a human to turn into a earthpony if he would pass the point of transformation? I get why you guys chose pegasi, unicorn, some even chose alicorn... but sometimes, i think rationally and logically. That's all i have to say. Thank you.
If I was to be a MLP i'd be a Unicorn, just so i'd be able to move things around without having the trouble to move and pick up things with my mouth/hooves. I'd also be able to be an artistic pony if I had a horn, because ponies can't really draw (goodish) with out magic can they o.o? I'd like to be able to fly though and being a weather pony looks like a heap of fun, and being an Earthpony would make me a lot stronger physically, as well as making sweets and foods, which unicorns and pegasai seem to not do at all/very much, but I pick Unicorn over all because of the easy use of moving items, and magic is something I think looks like fun even though it would take energy from you. I wouldn't actually care what kind of pony i'd be because in a way they all have their strong and weak points, but I wouldn't want to be an Alicorn, because 1. they are royalty and have to do a lot of leading (which I am horrible at) and work. 2. they seem to be overpowered and immortal maybe? 3. I don't like the whole flying and magic idea, simply because it would take so much energy out of you having to fly and then use magic. I'm one of the laid back lazy types anyways so Alicorn is not one of my options if I were to be a pony. That's all I have to say . (From Bree)
yah i spose it would be cool to have the best of both. but i don't really care about drawing and on top of that you would have to learn all the magic spells. So I think i would go with my first choice.
Unicorn. Because it makes sense, considering I'm a medical pony! Hooves and teeth are just not a safe way to dissect a living heart...
