So, I freaking love ponies, don't we all? So I really hate it when some silly fillies decide to have a negative outlook on the future of the show. I actually heard someone today post something that referenced the possibility of humans in Season 4, and how Hasbro is the devil, etc.. And it just really doesn't set well with me, I think positive when it comes to the future, and I'd like to think that Tara Strong and the rest of the crew would try their hardest to see this wonderful show not die. Anyone with me?
I don't think there's any reason to suspect the show suddenly going terribly downhill. The first ten episodes of Season 3 have been great, absolutely up to standard. They'd have to really screw things up to lose my viewership. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with all of these controversies.
I agree. No matter what, we love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. And let's say the show did go downhill, what's keeping us from remaining fans of the way it is now? Seriously guys, one does not simply abandon his or her fellow bronies. :derpe:
This show is always enjoyable. Even if I don't enjoy an entire episode, there will be golden moments in it and scenes that still make me laugh. It's a contagious feeling of joy really. No matter how the storyline progresses, the fanbase will still remain. There will be butthurt and flames, but that's all I see happening.
You know what rustles my jimmies? People making a ton of threads about the same topics. Just sayin' <.<
I'm a little concerned that this whole Twilicorn thing isn't going to work, and I think it could, if permanent, become very.... Damaging. I'm not saying they can't make it work, but they'll likely have difficulty. xD As for the human thing, They are almost certain to Not add humans. I saw the post, and the poster gave insufficient evidence for it to seem feeasable at all, atleast to me...
The show is still entertaining, and I still very much enjoy the fanbase. The only problem I'm seeing is all this fanservice going on,like, heavy fanservice. S2 fanservice was good and cool, because it was subtle, but still cool. Now they're just making it blatant and obvious at the expense of the show. If they add humans to Equestria, the show will die. I still enjoy it, but Hasbro needs to slow it down.
x2 Also, as I had pointed out already in the other thread, that article did not actually say humans would appear in the show, it was just made to seem that way upon first glance. Headlines are often deceiving. Hasbro, however, is definitively the devil. The devil in a snappy business suit.
They picked the wrong season to fill with fanservice, because season 3 is so short they can't spread it out between non-fanservice stuff. I mean, look at all the milestones they've had this season for the sake of the fans: A new Cutie Mark Crusader Trixie returning (I for one loathe the way they brought her back, and it killed what little respect I had for her before then) Dash taking Scootaloo under her wing Discord returning Applejack getting a song (I kinda wish they had given Fluttershy and Rainbow songs too. Rarity has Art of the Dress, Pinkie has Smile, Smile, Smile, Twilight has BBBFF (although I despise that song), and Applejack has Raise this Barn, but neither Fluttershy nor Rainbow Dash has had a solo yet, although they did have a duet in May the Best Pet Win (best episode EVER))
^^ Really? I personally thought they handled Trixie's return very cleverly, possibly the best out of all the fanservice eps. If anything I have more respect for her, as she showed a bit of humility and heart, instead of just being a braggart and a bit of a jerk. Hence the avatar. But to each his own.
The thing I hated about it is what she did to poor Pinkie. Seriously, I can forgive everything else she did, but what she did to Pinkie was unforgivable.
