I'm curious, in the eternal struggle between web browsers, what do you use? Me personally, I use both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, why? Because Chrome I use for my brony stuff because of Chrome themes and such and IE9 for everything else. How about you guys?
I use both IE, to watch videos on youtube and get on EPR, and Firefox for everything else. Firefox also has themes I have several MLP ones that I use, including an animated Vinyl and Derpy. Oh and as to why I use IE for videos and what not, there's a story behind that.
I honestly don't understand why people don't like IE, sure the older versions were pretty bad, but IE9 is really good, in switching between IE9 and Chrome, I see no difference.
I use Chrome. No, being a fox has nothing to do with whether I use FireFox or not. :I Now I'm curious. Whats the story? :I
Update with adobe flash caused firefox not to want to run video for some reason, I tried re-installing it nothing :I
I use Firefox because its easy to tweak settings in the about:config and for adblocker plus which blocks the ads from coming up on youtube. I usually don't have any problems with Firefox and youtube working like Rashall did. As far as speed is concerned, yes Chrome is about 0.02 seconds faster than Firefox when loading a page but I used Chrome when it first came out(yes I have updated it since then) and found a lot of security holes in it...which have seems to be fixed now but turned me off from using Chrome for the most part. Would probably only use Chrome as my main browser on a "Chromebook". As for IE, its the slowest of the 3 and doesn't cater to people wanting to customize it in all the ways you can for both Chrome and Firefox.
Joking aside, yes, I also use IE9, and while it probably doesn't have many super special benefits, it works just fine for me. I don't need all the little add-ons or customisations that most people tend to want. I just want it to run and do it's job. But that's just me. I actually find it pretty simple to use, and it does have quite a nice look to it imo. I use the latest version of Windows and they both work fine together, letting me get on with things simply and easily. I'm not really a tech person, so I don't know about "coding" or "OSs" or stuff like that, I just go with the basics, in this case being the default program that runs with the system. I'd have to Google the different operating systems using my trustworthy Internet Explorer to actually get Firefox or Chrome or something. That said, if my videos buffer on IE or do this weird glitch thing my laptop personally has, I use Chrome to go on Youtube and stuff. Security systems are fine. Avast/Norton 360 have kept me safe for a long time now. *EDIT* Oh, and my I-pod uses Safari
I've always been a Google user (Docs, Gmail, etc.), so Chrome is the way to go for me. EDIT: My god, that poor IE pony. I don't have anything against IE, but I fell in love with Chrome the minute I started using it.
Firefox. Why? I dunno. I guess it's just what i grew up with. I switched to Chrome for a while but i didn't really like it.
Chrome for everything. Firefox is okay, but chrome feels faster on my computer. IE is terrible. If you were to take programming classes, you would realize the extend of how bad it is.
I use Mozilla Firefox. Chrome is pretty fast, but it doesn't block ads by Google, so that's a bit of a loophole, and a deal-breaker for me since I hate ads. IE isn't terrible. I don't hate it.
SR-Ware Iron. Same as Chrome, but its not google that made it. Cause i don't want google to find out what i go to (they track in incognito mode ).
