I'm curious what Hasbro will do with MLP after the success of 4 had on the internet. Will they revert back to the format of 3.5 and take aim at the younger audience once again? Or will they continue in the direct which they're currently in, advertising to both the young and old? I hope the producers decide to take the route that TMNT did and attract the family audience for the future generations. Then again, being a brony has gotten a pretty terrible reputation attached to it, unlike being a Turtle nerd. So the eventual death of the fandom is a possibility.
I thought it was a family show from the very beginning. Lauren said she wanted to do a show kids and their parents could both enjoy.
I have enjoyed it with my daughters from the beginning. There is plenty of PG adult humor and jokes that the kids don't necessarily catch. For us, in our cave, we all enjoy it.
