This could be interesting, provided enough people do it. Basically, everyone here should post their personality type. Don't know what that is? Well, according to psychologists, each and every one of us has a personality that can be categorised into one of 16 types. You can find out yours by taking this startlingly accurate test here: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp You can find out about your personality type by changing the INFJ to whatever your type is on this link http://www.personalitypage.com/INFJ.html (unless of course you are an INFJ). It will be interesting to see if bronies actually share similar personality types, or that maybe ponies appeal to people regardless of this. Not interested in knowing? Well, it can be even more interesting. Someone out there made a graph of all the ponies, along with their personality types (which at first annoyed me as I thought I was the first to think of this). This means you can find out what pony you are! (According to this, anyway. I don't agree with it 100%, but it's only a bit of fun. Anyway, the ponies: Twilight Sparkle: INTP Applejack: ESTJ Rainbow Dash: ESTP Pinkie Pie: ENFP Fluttershy: ISFP Rarity: ENFJ Spike: ISTP Princess Celestia: INTJ Princess Luna: INFP Applebloom: ENTP Scootaloo: ESFP Sweetie Belle: ISFJ Big MacIntosh: ISTJ Trixie: ENTJ Zecora: INFJ Cheerilee: ESFJ I'm an INFJ, which according to the list makes me Zecora. I don't see how, but whatever. What about you?
Geez, I'm going to have to take that test over again. My therapist had me take that years ago, but I don't remember what it was now. Well, I'll take the test, and get back to you, but, tell me - how'd you get everyponies personality? Did they actually take the test?! Yeah, I know, I'm being weird, but I am curious how you worked out their scores.
I got Twilight. Intuitive Logical Introvert.....kind of sounds like me IRL..... http://www.personalitypage.com/html/INTP.html The Thinker. Sounds pretty cool.
I'm an INTJ, so I'm...Celestia?! Well, I mean, I don't like leading too much, but...If Equestria needs a leader...
it says I'm ESFJ that makes me Cheerilee. that isn't so bad while I would rate myself (by questions) more like crossover of Twilight and Fluttershy. well, maybe Cheerilee would be that crossover.
INTJ, Celestia here. Introverted: 56 % Intuitive: 62 % Thinking: 38 % Judging: 22 % Wow, the fact that I picked a unique approach to everywhere where I could affected this test so much that I am officially Intuitive. 2 WORDS: BULL *squee!*. Or one word if you count bull*squee!* as one word. First of all, I think that Thinking should be about 70 %, for I think... A lot... And by a lot I mean A LOT. Judging would be... hmm... I dunno. Really neutral. Intiutive shouldn't be this high, for I more rely on what Religion and Science says than my own feelings. About 30 % here are in my opinion. Introverted is ok, since i do think a lot in my free time. So... well... erm... Gonna do the test again. ...Oh wait. Fail, I didn't go to that link and past INTJ. It says "The Scientist". Cool.
I am an ENTJ, though the E says a "slight" preference where the other ones are "moderate" or higher. I guess I identify with Trixie. Yay! Although, I remember the last time I took this test I got INTJ, so whatever.
What I found kinda strange here is the lack of Religious questions. I would have bet that politics and stuff like that would be a general question here. Just wondering since I am religious and value it above everything else. Oh well.
I said that I would have bet that Religious and Political questions would kind of dominate the test in my opinion, and after that said that i was wrong.
The way I see it, religion and politics are of no indication of your actual personality type. Your religion and political standpoints can be affected by your personality, but the reverse isn't true. I've met people of the same type who had drastically different religious and political views. All your personality governs is how you go about representing those views.
I got INFP, which makes me Princess Luna. The other link says I'm an Idealist. I Guess that suits me.
i got spike slightly expressed introvert moderately expressed sensing personality moderately expressed thinking personality slightly expressed perceiving personality ISTP
An ISFP huh?...let me see.....an "Artist", but I suck at art... From the Portrait of an ISFP: "They have a strong set of values, which they strive to consistently meet in their lives. They need to feel as if they're living their lives in accordance with what they feel is right, and will rebel against anything which conflicts with that goal." Okay..... "ISFPs tend to be quiet and reserved, and difficult to get to know well. They hold back their ideas and opinions except from those who they are closest to. They are likely to be kind, gentle and sensitive in their dealings with others. They are interested in contributing to people's sense of well-being and happiness, and will put a great deal of effort and energy into tasks which they believe in." True, I like helping people, but they tend to not want to talk to me..... "They're likely to be animal lovers, and to have a true appreciation for the beauties of nature. They're original and independent, and need to have personal space. They value people who take the time to understand the ISFP, and who support the ISFP in pursuing their goals in their own, unique way. People who don't know them well may see their unique way of life as a sign of carefree light-heartedness, but the ISFP actually takes life very seriously, constantly gathering specific information and shifting it through their value systems, in search for clarification and underlying meaning." Wow. Exactly like me....read this guys and you'll get an idea of me.... "ISFPs are extremely perceptive and aware of others. They constantly gather specific information about people, and seek to discover what it means. They are usually penetratingly accurate in their perceptions of others. ISFPs are warm and sympathetic. They genuinely care about people, and are strongly service-oriented in their desire to please. They have an unusually deep well of caring for those who are close to them, and are likely to show their love through actions, rather than words. ISFPs have no desire to lead or control others, just as they have no desire to be led or controlled by others. They need space and time alone to evaluate the circumstances of their life against their value system, and are likely to respect other people's needs for the same. The ISFP is likely to not give themself enough credit for the things which they do extremely well. Their strong value systems can lead them to be intensely perfectionist, and cause them to judge themselves with unneccesary harshness. The ISFP has many special gifts for the world, especially in the areas of creating artistic sensation, and selflessly serving others. Life is not likely to be extremely easy for the ISFP, because they take life so seriously, but they have the tools to make their lives and the lives of those close to them richly rewarding experiences." Exactly like me. I genuinely care for others. You might not know me personally, fellow bronies, but know that I do care about you guys, even if I have a bit of an inferiority complex. Now let me see what pony corresponds to mine.......FLUTTERSHY!?!?!?! YESSSSS YESSSSSS YESSSSS!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!! As a side note, my extroverted self would be Scootaloo and my exact opposite is an ENTJ.....huh .....
