When you play a video game, what kind of character do you like to play as? Do you like to play as the kind of character that can take out enemies in 2-3 hits, but moves like a sloth on downers? Do you like to play as the kind who is very fast, but is not good at taking hits? Do you like the kind of character that is well-rounded in all areas?
1- dude, I can barely read your text. It's too bright for the standard background 2- all glory to the thieving rogue! While you people distract him, I'm stealing all your lootz, then come in and steal the final hit to get the exp. better luck next time bromigos! 3- ow *falls over dead* he had friends... Save me!
I find that balance is key to victory. However, I do sort of gravitate to the characters with at least a little zip in their step. They can't hit me if they can't catch me, right?
I like versatility, like a red mage from Final Fantasy or a Mystic Knight/Magick Archer from Dragon's Dogma or a Dex/Mag spellblade from Dark Souls. Barring that, I go for more nimble, high DPS units (I like seeing big numbers on my screen).
Personally I like to mix things up and play as all kinds of characters. My has favourite though, has and probably always will be, a character that is quite weak but fast and can kill in one or two hits.
A speedy rouge character with decent defensive statistics and good top of the line light armor. My rouge character on a game called Kingdoms of amalur: reckoning, is basically an untouchable speedy demon, i've got the best rouge armor, which is DreadScale. His name is ShadowStalker, and he gets critical hits.... a lot, if your not careful, he will end them fast, and make little work of even the most ferocious of enemies, all of his weaponry is imbued with poison. Another character i've got can one hit practically every single enemy in his path, an incredibly powerful sorcerer, that will be unsurpassed by any wizard for millennium, That wizards name, is StarSwirl, The bearded, He wears ancient, powerful mage armor, know as Spiritweave, a staff imbued with bone crackling ice, and magically imbued disks, capable of massive damage.
Depends on what it s being played. If it's a fighting game, I'll usually pick a fast character. What's the point in high defence when you've got nothing to defend against? On RPGs, there's usually some way of keeping all your stats sky-high, but I'll stll usually prioritise Speed. And Attack. Defence comes after that. If it's a RPG where you have a team of, say, four characters, it'll depend on the job class. Heh, I prefer using a Black mage and a White mage myself. They're more effective for black and white magic.
