Who likes Spike?

He's very important to show, in the sense that he is the token male character and can always be relied on to cause problems for the ponies to fix.

 

Spike is alright I guess, but he's nothing up to the Mane 6 in my book. He just tags along with Twi being nothing more than an assistant, When he could serve as something like an adviser or strategist.

I just like to see Spike get thrown around, bump into things, get caught up in tussles. It's almost like he's indestructible lol. Seeing him in a Super Smash Bros.-like game would be the best thing ever :derpe:

Anyway, he exists because every children's show character needs a pet.
In a fantasy setting the pet has to talk.
Because the creators knew what they were doing, they made him a good character also.
However, he is as important to the show as Owluiscious.

He's not quite as likeable as the majority of the Mane Six. But he's still a pretty great character. Like Jar Jar.

Yes I like Spike mostly because he not Gilda, Prince Blueblood, Snips, Snails, Diamond Tiara or Silver Spoon now those are the characters I do not like but in my opinion all other characters including Spike are awesome.

Personally, it really depends on the episode. He's a pretty decent supporting character most of the time and has some really good scenes every once in a while, but as soon as he's the center of an episode, he tends to be sub-par.

So yeah, I guess I like him. I just don't like how he's used in the show most of the time.

 

He takes care of every nacho emergency you could have, and fast. How is that not positive? :derpe:

 

I acknowledge the importance in his role. And I will admit, he has his shining moments.

But overall, especially when he takes center stage...I want to see less of him. Like a lot less.

I liked him better in se01 when he was less of a fool who steps on rakes every five seconds and more of a wiseass.

I don't dislike him now, but...well, that third poll option says it best.

he's a good character.
He can act little immature in certain situations, but he still has good heart in the end.

 

Spike is a character that is occasionally important to the story.
