Why Isn't My GIF Avatar doing anything?

    I'm curious my Avatar is a GIF image but it isn't doing anything my avatar is a picture of Zoe Trent from Littlest Pet Shop and little sparkles are supposed to be around her while she wags/ moves her cute little tail up and down happily/ excitedly but it's not doing any thing why exactly is that?

    In order for the gif to work, it has to be 230x230 or less, dimension-wise. Anything larger and it doesn't work. There's also a maximum filesize that I can't recall right now.

    For .gif avatars, the image must be smaller than 230x230 pixels AND it must be smaller than 683.6KB. That's what I found anyway.

    You can google a program called gif resizer. That's what I use.

    I used Paintshop Pro 7, but that's a pretty old program.
