I don't see why that would surprise you. This fandom is notorious for throwing hissy fits. Just look at the Derpy outrage. I think a lot of people don't want to see needless drama unfold.

Honestly If they use the headcanon voices given by the fandom it could be a chance for them to redeem the derpy debate, I mean they tweaked derpy because someone got offended. but when she first spoke they did a great job and the fandom loved it. So if they do talk no doubt in my mind they would go for the headcanon voices. But if they will I personally dont know. It'd be nice
