In this thread, I shall post all of my vain attempts to capture a more interesting perspective of the world I see around me. Whether it is I am successful at this is an entirely separate matter, but hopefully these won't turn out completely bad. Context: Late last year, just around the Christmas-New Year's area of December, Toronto got hit by an ice-storm which ended up knocking out power and knocking down trees alike. It also left a fairly thick layer of ice covering literally anything that wasn't otherwise sheltered from the freezing rain. Armed with a half-competent camera, I strode out to take artistic shots sometime that week, and predictably only decided to really look through them sometime today.
