Hey guys, i just came back from my new job! I've been making club sandwiches, submarines, wash some plates, and did everything anyone asked me. But that's not the point: I realized that, coping with the work's effort, it'll be hard to get connected on this forum, and even answering to my fans on facebook/tumblr.
In this thread, let's shoot ideas about how to get energy for your job, while having time to get along with our Irl friends, as much as friends from the internet.
Let's say, taking energy drinks may sound like a good idea, but it's side effects on your health can be quite unpleasant after abused use. As much as asking your employer for free days or a little less hours; you may loose your job.
Having breaks to answer may get annoying for your employer/coworkers too, if you thought replying to your discussions and Rps AT your job. Anyways, let's face the thruth: How can we keep our reputation on the web while having less and less time for it?
In my case, i'll be working irregularly. Everyday, around 11 am, i go in the kitchen's basement and get ingredients for meals readied up. Then, after cleaning up the kitchen and basement, the first rush: i had to litteraly run between the wash station and the kitchen, to get the meals ready, and clen up the dishes fast enough, put them back at their place in the kitchen, and start again the loop. And i haven't talked about the times i had to go in the basement to get a pack of drinks, or lettuce/bacon/tomatoes for the sandwiches... I managed to ''play it cool'' and be ay my best, surpassing the other employed to do the same job as me; even if he had been there for a few months, i was fastest at the wash and the kitchen at the same time. Isn't it awesome?
Well, when i came back home... I took some time to write this, and i'll probably go to sleep. I finished at 20:10, and start tomorrow at 11h again. But i'll be on the ''close'': i'll leave the kitchen probably at 2 am, this monday. And have to always come back at 11, or sooner...

I asked myself while walking: will i be able to hold myself enough to keep beeing popular, work on the radio project i started, and not turn into a living dead?
Anyways. Where do you work? How do you cope with it and still be present on EP? Can we someday get used to this? Having any ideas that may help me? Do i have any ideas that may help you? Let's discuss about this with a good coffee, shall we?

Sleep 8 hrs., work 8 hrs., and do whatever (usually being on the computer) 8 hrs. seems like the best balance. Although, it sometimes gets a little muddled for me since I work 2nd shift the 8 hrs. of 'Do Whatever' are split up but you get used to it.

i still have to work more than 8hrs per day: i've got a lot of things to pay, and 40hrs per week aren't enough...
Getting schooled to find a better work costs too much. 250$ for a session (around five months), plus books and bus passes, something like 120/month. i havent yet counted the food, cigaretes and cinema/theatres pieces i've gotta watch dor my classes...i
    n other wp
ords, i need a little 10,000$ in my bank account after i've paid my sessions.
i hate money... let's become communists!
